Our recent Project Smile at Minpakiki Integrated School was made even more meaningful as we paid tribute to the life and legacy of Rene Clert Baterbonia. 💙💚❤️

Rene’s story reminded us that a person’s life may be short, but the love, kindness, and memories they leave behind can continue to touch many lives. Through this tribute, we hope that Rene’s smile, his dreams, and the beautiful memories he shared with his family, friends, and community will continue to live on.

Walking almost 8 kilometers, enduring the long journey, the tiredness, and every challenge along the way, all became worth it when we saw the smiles of the children. This was not just a project. It was a celebration of a life, a remembrance of a beautiful soul, and a legacy that will continue through acts of love and service.

To the family of Rene, thank you for allowing Project Ambagan: Gingoog Movement (PAGM) to be part of this meaningful tribute. May you always feel that Rene is remembered and that his story continues to inspire others.

To our PAGM sponsors and partners, maraming salamat for believing in our mission and for helping us turn this tribute into something meaningful for the children of Mimpakiki. Your generosity became part of Rene’s continuing legacy.

Some lives are too meaningful to be forgotten. Some dreams are too beautiful not to be continued. ❤️

With the permission and consent of Rene Clert Baterbonia’s parents and family, we dedicate this special Project Smile outreach to his memory.

Rene may no longer be with us, but the kindness he shared, the dreams he carried, and the inspiration he left behind continue to touch lives.

Through every child we reach, every smile we create, and every act of kindness we share, we hope to carry a piece of Rene’s light forward.

This is more than an outreach.

A proud moment for the Project Ambagan: Gingoog Movement family. 💙💚❤️

This morning, during the Regular Flag Raising Ceremony, the Most Outstanding Volunteer Award (Individual – Youth Category) – Region X was formally presented to our Founding Chairman, Mr. Jickie V. Oclarit, by City Mayor Erick G. Cañosa together with the Honorable Members of the 22nd City Council.

Joined by our Co-Founders and dedicated volunteers, we celebrate this milestone with gratitude. This recognition belongs to every member who continues to serve our communities with compassion, commitment, and purpose.

Today, Project Ambagan: Gingoog Movement proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone as our Founding Chairman, Mr. Jickie V. Oclarit, was formally conferred the Most Outstanding Volunteer Award (Individual – Youth Category) during the 2025 Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) – Region X, held at the 145th Regional Development Council-X Full Council Meeting.

This prestigious recognition honors his unwavering dedication to volunteerism, community empowerment, and youth leadership. Through his vision, Project Ambagan: Gingoog Movement (PAGM) has mobilized volunteers, partners, and donors to serve thousands of beneficiaries through disaster response, educational assistance, youth development, child welfare, humanitarian initiatives, and community-based programs that continue to create meaningful and lasting impact.

This award is not a recognition of one individual alone. It is dedicated to our Co-Founders, the PAGM Officials and Executive Committee 2026, our volunteers, partners, supporters, and every member of the Project Ambagan family. This achievement is a reflection of our shared passion, sacrifices, and commitment to serving others with compassion and integrity.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Architect Jason Roi Bucton of the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), Gingoog City, and Ms. Rachelle Jade B. Espejon, RSW of POPDEV Gingoog for nominating our Founding Chairman for the 2025 Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) – Region X. Your confidence and trust opened the door to this meaningful recognition, and we are sincerely grateful.

We may not replace what was lost, but we share this with love and care. 💙💚❤️

Our team visited the victims of the recent fire incident in Brgy. 23, Gingoog City, where 23 families were affected.

Through the collective effort of our volunteers and donors, we distributed sets of used clothes for men, women, and children. All carefully segregated and ensured to be clean and ready to use.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Project Ambagan.
