Sunday is an important day to strengthen our connection with God. Our 𝘼𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧, 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙖, shared her reflection on 1 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 13:4 (𝙉𝙄𝙑)".

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” - 1 Corinthians 13:4 (NIV)

This verse reminds us of what genuine love looks like. Love is not defined by feelings alone, but by the way we treat others. Patience chooses grace when people are difficult. Kindness reflects God’s heart in everyday actions. That true love is humble and seeks the good of others rather than its own recognition. Let this verse encourage us today to love the way God loves, allowing patience, kindness, and humility to shape our words and actions.

🌿 Did you know a 𝘽𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 1 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮?

Bamboo, scientifically classified as a giant grass that belongs to the grass family (Poaceae), is a type of grass—not a tree. Not all plants grow slowly! Under ideal conditions, some bamboo species can grow up to 91 cm (36 inches) in just one day, making bamboo one of the fastest-growing plants in the world. Its rapid growth makes it an important renewable resource for construction, furniture, paper, handicrafts, and environmental conservation.

YES-O officers, together with the DRRM officers, continue to support the School-Based Feeding Program by helping prepare and cook nutritious meals for the students.

We are grateful to be part of this meaningful initiative, making a positive difference by providing students with balanced, nutritious meals that promote healthy eating habits and support their overall well-being.

“1 Peter 5:7 reminds me that I do not have to carry all my worries alone. Whenever I feel stressed about school, family, or my future, I can trust God and give my burdens to Him because He truly cares for me. This verse gives me comfort, peace, and strength to keep moving forward with faith.”

The School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) continues to make a difference by providing nutritious meals to underweight learners.

Through this initiative, students receive the nourishment they need to support their growth, improve their health, and stay focused in the classroom.

As July comes to an end, we also wrap up our Nutrition Month celebration. We hope that the activities and lessons throughout the month have encouraged our students to learn more about the importance of good nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle.

A big thank you to all the students, teachers and school staffs who participated and supported our Nutrition Month activities. Your enthusiasm, effort, and cooperation made this celebration fun, meaningful, and successful. ✨

Fruit carving showcased the creativity, talent, and artistry of our Southernians. Thank you to everyone who participated and transformed simple fruits into beautiful works of art while promoting healthy living.

We hope this activity inspired everyone to appreciate the importance of proper nutrition and encouraged us all to make healthier choices every day. ✨

Did you know that the 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙝 (𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙩𝙝𝙮𝙨 𝙡𝙪𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨) 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙?

This tiny fish is found mainly in Lake Buhi, Camarines Sur, and usually grows only about 1.2 to 2.5 centimeters long. Despite its small size, Sinarapan is a unique part of our country’s aquatic biodiversity and has attracted the interest of scientists for many years.

The species belongs to the remarkable group of gobies found in the Philippines, highlighting the richness and importance of Philippine freshwater ecosystems.
