LAFNHS | Student Club Officers Oath-Taking Ceremony

Earlier today, July 16, 2026, all of the officers from different clubs and organizations united during the Oath-Taking Ceremony held in celebration of the First Founding Anniversary of Luis A. Ferrer National High School. The Girl Scouts of the Philippines โ€“ LAFNHS joined the oath-taking along with fellow student club officers, teachers, and the newly elected SPTA Officers. The program began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the Welcome Message of our School Head, Miss Mylene Cecille M. Diaz, and the Welcome Message of the SPTA President. Afterwards, we proceeded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony, formally affirming the commitment of the newly elected club officers.

During the ceremony, Miss Mylene Cecille M. Diaz shared the inspiring journey of LAFNHS, recalling how the school opened in 2023 with limited facilities and resources and highlighting the remarkable achievements it has attained in academics, journalism, sports, and various competitions. A commemorative video showcasing the school's achievements from 2023 up until now was also presented. The event also featured inspiring stories and important announcements that encouraged everyone to work together in maintaining a peaceful, disciplined, and supportive learning environment for all. The program concluded with a Closing Message delivered by Sir Joey Sombrero.

GSPโ€“LAFNHS Officers Meeting for School Year 2026โ€“2027 Program of Activities

Yesterday, July 8, 2026, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines โ€“ Luis A. Ferrer National High School officers, together with Tita Renzei Mata Arellano, GSP Coordinator/Adviser, conducted an officers' meeting to discuss several crucial matters regarding the launch of the organization's upcoming events, projects, programs, and other activities for School Year 2026โ€“2027. The meeting began with an opening prayer, followed by the recitation of the Girl Scout Law and Promise, led by President Cadet Girl Scout Denise Joy Q. Pascual.

The meeting centered on the importance of the organization's planned activities, emphasizing their benefits not only for every Girl Scout member but also for the community. Moreover, the discussion did not only focus on their benefits and importance but also on how these initiatives will help individuals grow and positively affect society through service and volunteerism. Subsequently, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to share and donate resources to people in need through its future outreach initiatives. Concurrently, preparations for the upcoming Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme (CGSMS) were also discussed, wherein four selected GSP members will conduct a program for students from different baranggay by sharing important and prevalent knowledge that can be applied in daily life, including Health (illness and disease awareness), Livelihood (ways of earning money or securing the basic necessities of life), Cultural Heritage (knowledge about history, culture, and traditions in a specific location), and Ecology (the scientific study of how living things interact with one another and with their physical environment).

Today, July 6, 2026, members of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines โ€“ Luis A. Ferrer National High School (LAFNHS) rendered duty during the school's Flag Raising Ceremony, assisting in maintaining order and ensuring the smooth conduct of the activity. Led by the Grade 9 Council, the ceremony reflected on the Philippines' historic victory in the 2016 South China Sea Arbitration and honored the courage of Filipinos in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty. Learners were also reminded of the importance of patriotism, honesty, and integrity, inspiring every Clarian to become responsible citizens both inside and beyond the school.

Today, July 4, 2026, President Cadet Girl Scout Denise Joy Q. Pascual and Vice President Cadet Girl Scout Sophia Jairah D. Rafanot proudly represented Luis A. Ferrer National High School โ€“ General Trias, Cavite, during the GSP Senior/Cadet Planning Board Meeting held at Lucsuhin Integrated High School, Alfonso, Cavite, under the guidance of Tita Renzei Mata Arellano, Patrol Leader and Club Adviser. The gathering was facilitated by Council Executive Tita Lenie P. Regencia of the Cavite Girl Scout Council, bringing together Senior and Cadet Girl Scout leaders from different high schools across the province.

The meeting served as an avenue for leadership development and collaborative planning among Senior and Cadet Girl Scout representatives from different high schools in Cavite. Discussions covered the election of SCPB and JJG Officers for S.Y. 2026โ€“2027, membership concerns, the Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme Orientation, and other council matters. Delegates also participated in the "Stop the Violence" session conducted by Tita Jhonnette, which encouraged Girl Scouts to become advocates of respect, safety, and empowerment within their communities. The gathering also introduced the GSP SAVER Team (Service Auxiliary Volunteers for Emergency and Relief), a special volunteer program of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines that equips Girl Scouts to assist schools and local communities through first aid, communication, and relief operations during disasters and emergencies.

The LAFNHS-GSP Family also proudly congratulates the newly elected SCPB and JJG Officers of the Cavite Girl Scout Council. May your term be marked by dedication, integrity, and meaningful service to the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

For more than six decades, the region has continuously shaped young girls into confident leaders, responsible citizens, and compassionate individuals through the values of service, integrity, and unity.
