Launched in Manila on October 26, 2019, the โ€œ๐Š๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ค, ๐Š๐ข๐ฅ๐จ, ๐Š๐ข๐ญ๐šโ€ program encouraged residents to collect and properly dispose of plastic waste by exchanging recyclables for useful household products. ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ

This initiative not only collected plastic waste but also proved how the community could participate in a better waste management practice with the right kind of incentives. People were reminded that plastic can be a waste but it doesnโ€™t always have to be something we dispose or throw away. Plastic can be collected, recovered and given value.

When we work together and make small changes, these simple actions can create a big impact for a cleaner and more sustainable environment for all of us. ๐Ÿ’š
