CIN Leadership Leads Bamboo Planting for Environmental Preservation in T’boli

Brgy. Basag, T’boli – March 21, 2025 – The leadership of the Community Intelligence Network (CIN), led by Chairman Jerry Arapan, Vice Chairman Bernard Mendoza, Board of Trustee Efren Pillo, and Deputy for National Operation Mr. Darwin Mendoza, conducted a Bamboo Planting Activity in Brgy. Basag, T’boli.

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Duma Covenant Corporation, reinforcing CIN’s commitment to environmental preservation—one of the organization’s three key pillars.

The event brought together CIN leaders and community members in a shared effort to promote reforestation and sustainable land management. Bamboo, known for its fast growth and ecological benefits, plays a crucial role in preventing soil erosion, improving air quality, and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities.

"This activity reflects our deep commitment to protecting and restoring our environment. Through reforestation efforts like this, we are not only preserving nature but also ensuring a better future for the next generations," said Chairman Jerry Arapan.

Duma Covenant Corporation provided essential support, ensuring the successful implementation of the initiative. Their partnership with CIN highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing environmental challenges.

CIN’s Environmental Preservation Pillar is one of the three foundational programs aimed at uplifting indigenous communities.

The organization continues to advocate for sustainable development, cultural preservation, and community empowerment.

As part of its ongoing commitment, CIN plans to expand similar environmental initiatives to other indigenous communities, further reinforcing its mission to preserve nature while empowering people.
