Philippine Red Cross Celebrates 79 Years of Dedicated Humanitarian Service
Today, April 15, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) marks its 79th anniversary, honoring nearly eight decades of unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and nation-building. With 102 chapters across the country, the occasion serves as both a celebration of its legacy and a renewed call to uphold its mission, strengthen unity, and recognize the enduring spirit of volunteerism that defines the organization.
For almost eight decades, the PRC has remained a constant presence during the nationโs most critical momentsโresponding when floods strike in the dead of night, when earthquakes devastate communities, when hospitals urgently need blood, and as families begin the difficult journey toward recovery and rebuilding.
