On the first day of its 2026 National Consultative Meeting and Planning Workshop, the 4-H Club of the Philippines gathered national leaders and representatives for a productive 12-hour strategic meeting aimed at strengthening the organization and its programs for young farmers across the country.
The consultative session covered nine key agenda items, including financial concerns, preparations for the upcoming National Convention, a review of the organizationโs Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), as well as discussions on future plans and partnerships that will further empower 4-H members nationwide.
The meeting was also graced by the presence of Remelyn R. Recoter, Director IV of the Department of Agriculture โ Agricultural Training Institute, and Assistant Director Antonieta J. Arceo. In their message, they reminded the young farmer leaders of the instituteโs continued support to the organization, emphasizing that their office will remain supportive as long as the presence of 4-H Clubs continues to be felt at the grassroots level.
They also encouraged the leaders to initiate more programs and initiatives that will enrich and empower young farmers across different regions of the country.
The discussions concluded with a renewed commitment from the national officers and leaders of the 4-H Club of the Philippines to strengthen collaboration, expand opportunities for youth in agriculture, and continue cultivating leadership among the next generation of Filipino farmers. ๐ฑ๐ต๐ญ
