Therefore the Eid’l Fit’r will be celebrated on March 21, 2026 (Saturday). This result has been properly conducted by the official moon sighting team, who had been gathered to agreed-upon strategic locations and has been proactively led by the Bangsamoro M***i, Sheikh Abdulrauf A. Guialani.

Muslim organizations and community leaders came together to celebrate faith, unity, and service to the Ummah under this year’s theme: “Ramadhan: Renewing the Heart through Tawbah, Gratitude, and the Amanah of Serving the Ummah.”

In the spirit of Ramadan, the City Government of General Santos City, through the City Mayor’s Office – Muslim Concerns and Affairs Division (CMO-MCAD), successfully held the 14th GenSan Grand Iftar & MCAD Kanduli on March 16, 2026 at Lagao Gymnasium.

The gathering brought together Muslim organizations, community leaders, and partners in a shared moment of faith, unity, and gratitude. A key highlight was the Kanduli, symbolizing appreciation and recognizing the important role of the Muslim community in the city.

Guided by the theme “Ramadhan: Renewing the Heart through Tawbah, Gratitude, and the Amanah of Serving the Ummah,” the event served as a reminder to continue living with compassion, service, and unity.

In the spirit of Ramadan, a time for reflection, repentance, and gratitude, the City Government of General Santos, under the leadership of Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, through the Coty Mayor’s Office- Muslim Cultural Affairs Division (CMO-MCAD), will host the 14th GenSan Grand Iftar & MCAD Kanduli on March 16, 2026 at Lagao Gymnasium.

This meaningful gathering brings together invited Muslim organizations, community leaders, and partners in a shared moment of faith, unity, and solidarity. One of the highlights of the event is the Kanduli, commemorating the establishment of the Muslim Concerns and Affairs Division under the City Mayor’s Office, recognizing the vital role of the Muslim community in the development and harmony of General Santos City.

Guided by this year’s theme:“Ramadhan: Renewing the Heart through Tawbah, Gratitude, and the Amanah of Serving the Ummah.”

Earlier, Ramadan food packs were distributed by Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao, Hon Alberto “Bobby” Pacquiao, and the BOBSLOR Foundation to Muslim individuals and employees who may not be able to attend the gathering-extending the spirit of compassion and generosity during this blessed month of Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah, by the mercy and guidance of Allah (SWT), we are grateful to have successfully conducted the Phase 3 — the final Iftar Drive for this Ramadan 2026 on March 08, 2026, at Ambo Alilaya Litahfidhil Qur’anil Kareem.

Through this humble effort, we were able to share iftar meals and meaningful moments with the students and community. This initiative reflects the true essence of the blessed month of Ramadan — unity, compassion, generosity, and service to others.

We would like to extend our special thanks to the Family Upham for generously sponsoring the final phase of our Ramadan Iftar Drive. Your kindness and support made this meaningful activity possible, and we pray that Allah (SWT) rewards your generosity with abundant barakah.

Alhamdulillah, by the mercy and guidance of Allah (SWT), we are grateful to have successfully conducted our Phase 2 Iftar Drive on March 7, 2026, at Darul Habib Institute for the Memorization of the Holy Qur’an, Tuyan, Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

Through this humble effort, we were able to share iftar meals and meaningful moments with the students and community, reflecting the spirit of unity, compassion, and service that this blessed month of Ramadan teaches us.

Our sincere thanks to the Salaam Police Center for joining us and showing support. Your presence truly meant a lot to us and strengthened the spirit of cooperation and goodwill during this meaningful activity.

𝑨𝒍𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉! As part of our commitment to accountability, FOSBOM is pleased to provide a progress update on our collection for the Ramadan Iftar Drive 2026.

As of today March 5, 2026, we have successfully raised a total of:
💰 PHP 4,400.25. This amount is currently being utilized to fund the meals and supplies for our upcoming Phase 2 distribution this Saturday, March 7 2026. Every centavo donated is being used to ensure our brothers and sisters have a nutritious and meaningful Iftar. 🍲✨

For those who wish to extend their Sadaqah and be part of our upcoming phases, we are still humbly accepting contributions. No amount is too small, your generosity will go a long way in providing hope and sustenance to our tullabs. 🤲🌸
