CHesed Shines Corp, in partnership with Christ' Church at Mountain View (CCMV) Conducts Relief Operation for Earthquake-Affected Families in 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘬 5, 𝘚𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘔𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘺, and 𝘈𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘦𝘭, 𝘚𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦
In response to the recent earthquake that affected communities in Purok 5, Sitio Intake, Barangay Mabuhay, General Santos and neighboring places like Alabel, Sarangani Province, our church conducted a relief operation to extend God's love and compassion to those impacted by the disaster.
As we continue to assess the situation, we are also launching a campaign to help repair homes damaged by the earthquake. We invite individuals, churches, and organizations who would like to support this cause to partner with us. Through the generous support of Marfilez Corp, CCGSI, CCPI, and other ministry partners and individuals, basic food and household necessities were distributed to nearly 80 affected families last June 18,2026. In addition, monetary assistance was provided to three families whose homes and livelihoods were severely affected by the earthquake.
More than meeting physical needs, this outreach served as a reminder that no one walks through difficult times alone. Through prayer, fellowship, and acts of kindness, we sought to bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ to every family we encountered.
We thank everyone who contributed, volunteered, and prayed for this mission. Your generosity has become a blessing to many and a testimony of God's faithfulness in times of trial.
As we continue to pray for the recovery of the affected families, may we remain united in serving others and sharing Christ's love through both word and action.
