“True relief shouldn’t be an afterthought; it must be a well-oiled machine.”

We are no strangers to natural calamities, but as Masons, we refuse to just wait and react. Let us take a bold, proactive leap forward.

We lift our hearts in prayers for our brethren, their families, our Lodges, and all the people of SOCCSKSARGEN affected by the recent earthquake.

May every family find comfort, safety, and strength during this difficult time. We also pray for the responders, volunteers, and communities working together to protect lives and bring hope where it is needed most.

As Masons, we are called to relieve the distressed. May we be ready to extend our hands, our hearts, and our resources to aid our worthy Brothers, their families in need.

OFFICIAL ADVISORY

TO: All Worshipful Masters, Wardens, and Brethren of the constituent Lodges under MDRXII SOCSKSARGEN

FROM: Office of the District Deputy Grand Master

SUBJECT: Suspension of Masonic Labors and Activities Due to Recent Earthquake

DATE: June 8, 2026

Brethren,

In light of the recent strong earthquake felt across our region and the subsequent declaration of work and class suspensions by the Governors/Mayors across SOCSKSARGEN,

the Office of the District Deputy Grand Master hereby directs the immediate suspension of all Masonic labors, committee meetings, fellowship gatherings, and official district activities within the affected areas of MDRXII SOCSKSARGEN until further notice.

As leaders and pillars of our communities, our immediate focus must shift from the labor of the Lodge to the safety and security of our families and neighbors.

In alignment with the safety reminders, all Brethren are urged to:

Secure the Home Fire: Prioritize the immediate safety of your families, checking your homes and properties for any structural damage before resuming regular routines.

Inspect Our Temples: Worshipful Masters and Temple Administrators are directed to conduct thorough inspections of our respective Lodge buildings and meeting places to ensure structural integrity before regular labors resume.

Maintain Vigilance: Remain calm, stay alert for potential aftershocks, and closely follow the guidance of local disaster response agencies.

Extend Relief: Let us check on our Brethren, particularly those in heavily affected areas, to ensure everyone is accounted for and safe.

We will continue to monitor the situation and the forthcoming Executive Orders from our City/Provincial Government Leaders . Official communication regarding the resumption of Masonic activities will be issued once it is entirely safe to return to labor.

May the Great Architect of the Universe keep you, your families, and your communities safe and secure.

Stay safe. Stay alert.

Fraternally yours,

VW RABMOR THOMAS T. BARTOLOME
District Deputy Grand Master
MDRXII SOCSKSARGEN

In the speculative science of the Craft, we measure our progress not merely by the passing of years, but by the strength of the pillars we erect and the quality of the ashlar we smooth. This weekend, our District witnesses a rare and powerful alignment, a back-to-back convergence of Masonic fortitude, where history and leadership meet at the altar of Freemasonry.

We begin our labor as the sun begins to decline from the meridian, entering the gates of a remarkable 47-year legacy. This afternoon’s Stated Meeting transitions into a sacred Past Masters Night, a deliberate pause to honor the living trestleboards of our history. We look to these venerable craftsmen who have preserved our ancient landmarks and guided our path into the evening hours.

The gavel falls once more the following afternoon, calling the Craft from refreshment to labor for a historic 33rd Charter Anniversary. Mirroring the profound reverence of the night before, Lodge 304 will also observe its Past Masters Night, doubly reinforcing the foundations laid by those who preceded us. Bound by the solemn charge to "Stand as Pillars," the Brethren will receive our Deputy Grand Master, RW Ruel S. Rivera, as Guest of Honor and Speaker, a visitation that reminds us that though our lodges are distinct, our grand design remains entirely unified.

To the visiting Brethren, and traveling companions journeying to the East of General Santos City and Sarangani Province: welcome.

May our afternoon deliberations within the tiled recesses of the temple be characterized by perfect harmony, and may our consecutive evening fellowships at Babes 1 Bar (Royale Hotel) serve to further cement that cement which unites us into one sacred band of friends and brothers.

Let us meet upon the level, act upon the plumb, and part upon the square. 🕯️⚖️🛡️

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Declaration of Regular Masonic Authority

“Not every building bearing the Square and Compasses is a Lodge.
And not every man who calls himself a Mason has stood in the light of Regular Freemasonry.”

MASONIC DISTRICT RXII-SOCSKSARGEN, under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines, respectfully informs the public that the following are the only duly constituted, recognized, and regular Masonic Lodges operating within the territorial jurisdiction of the District:

• Mt. Matutum Masonic Lodge No. 156
• Koronadal Masonic Lodge No. 209
• Dadiangas Masonic Lodge No. 225
• Daguma Mt. Range Masonic Lodge No. 244
• Kaduh Masonic Lodge No. 278
• Maribulan Masonic Lodge No. 304
• Sultan Kudarat Masonic Lodge No. 348

Any group, organization, or self-proclaimed Masonic body operating within the District that is not chartered, recognized, or affiliated with the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines is considered clandestine and possesses no authority, legitimacy, nor recognition in Regular Freemasonry.

The public is advised to exercise vigilance and proper discernment when dealing with individuals or organizations claiming Masonic affiliation. Verification may be made through the proper authorities of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.

This advisory is issued to protect the integrity of the Craft, preserve the purity of its ancient landmarks, and affirm the distinction between legitimate Freemasonry and clandestine imitation.

“A counterfeit fears exposure because truth is the one thing it cannot imitate.”

WE DO NOT INVITE. WE DO NOT RECRUIT.
TO BE ONE, ASK ONE.

We extend our highest fraternal congratulations to the newly installed Grand Lodge Inspectors of Masonic District Region XII-SOCSKSARGEN!

The office of a Grand Lodge Inspector is far more than an administrative checkpoint; it is a calling to be the ultimate guardians of our craft. To our newly installed VWIs, your charge is not just to oversee the work, but to inspire every brother in your care to dig deeper into the tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Through your guidance, leadership, and exemplary lives, you hold the blueprint to help us achieve our highest purpose: Becoming Better Masons.

By ensuring our rituals remain precise, our integrity remains unshakeable, and our charity remains boundless, you pave the way for every member to rough-hew their own imperfections into a temple fit for the Grand Architect.

We look forward to the wisdom, vigor, and dedication you will bring to your respective lodges.

"If your Masonry has never demanded sacrifice from you, then your Masonry has never truly begun." 🏛️

The District Officers of MDRXII-SOCCSKSARGEN, led by our District Deputy Grand Master, VW Rabmor Thomas T. Bartolome, officially visited Kaduh Masonic Lodge No. 278 to celebrate their momentous 40th Charter Anniversary and Past Masters Night. ♦️

The momentous evening commenced with the formal installation of their new Grand Lodge Inspector, VWI Rodolfo U. Viajar, Jr. We extend our heartiest fraternal congratulations to VWI Viajar as he takes on this vital role of oversight and leadership for the Lodge.

The night reached even greater heights with the presentation of the prestigious Hiram Award to WB Ricardo F. Jalipa Jr., PDDGM. As one of the most humble, highly productive, and exemplary professional Past District Deputy Grand Masters to ever guide our jurisdiction, WB Jalipa embodies the very essence of quiet, impactful labor in the quarries of the Craft.

VW Rabmor issued a powerful charge to the brethren, anchoring his words on the Grand Master's vision:

“And that is why the challenge of our Grand Master MW Robert Joseph S. Moran Jr., “Becoming Better Masons” is so powerful.

Not more decorated Masons.
Not more influential Masons.
Better.

Because Masonry was never designed to decorate the ego. It was designed to discipline the soul.

The working tools are not ornaments.
The gavel exists to break arrogance. The square exists to confront our crookedness. The compasses exist to restrain the passions that would otherwise destroy us.

If your Masonry has never demanded sacrifice from you, then your Masonry has never truly begun.”

Congratulations to Worshipful Master PJ Acharon, Past Masters, and Brethren of Kaduh Masonic Lodge No. 278 on 40 years of refined strength, resilience, and unbroken brotherhood. May we all continue to leave the Craft brighter than we found it!
