𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗞 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Purok Katipunan ng Kabataan (PKK) and District KK officials of Barangay Labangal gathered on July 6 at the Labangal Barangay Gym in Purok Bagong Silang to take part in the Federation KK Elections for the term 2025-2026.

The election aimed to strengthen youth leadership and participation in the barangay by selecting a new set of Federation KK officers. All PKK and KK officials from every purok were invited to vote, ensuring that each area was represented in the selection process. The activity was organized in support of youth development and active involvement in community affairs.

After the voting, the following officials were elected: Elinor Gumama as President, Ginoel Romares as Vice President, Cherry Bulahan as Secretary, Michael Rey Acman as Treasurer, and Reyvin Dela Cerna as Public Information Officer (PIO). These newly elected leaders are expected to work closely with the Sangguniang Kabataan in planning and leading youth programs for the benefit of the barangay.

In line with the Indigenous People Festival 2025, SK Labangal will lead the 2nd Blaan Youth Day on July 10–12, 2025, with the theme “Kafbagal Di Dad Lamnuk: Kable B**g Afe Didad Tua Di Fye Gnafat” (Empowering the Blaan Youth: Honoring our Roots, Shaping our Future).

Spearheaded by Hon. Roberto Kindat Jr., IP Representative, Hon. Russel Olais, Committee Chairperson on Social Inclusion and Equity, and IPeace, the three-day celebration will highlight Blaan culture through youth-centered activities, cultural workshops, and community fellowship.
