𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠: 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣𝙣𝙮 𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐4𝙐 𝙏𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙡

Today, March 19, 2026, the City Population Management Office of General Santos City, together with the Program Officer I Ma’a Felie Mae Ferman, sir Monsanto Costaniera and Teen Support Group Gensan federation volunteers, successfully conducted the U4U Teen Trail with student leaders from various organizations. United as one, these student leaders were encouraged to become advocates for their fellow learners in promoting gender rights, personal development, and safe spaces for mental health through meaningful panel discussions and engaging topics.

Special thanks to Kristy Q. Geroche - JANHS Guidance Designate and to Johnny Ang School National Highschool for their support in making this activity possible. Through this initiative, young learners are empowered to make the right choices and become instruments of positive change in the community.

Today, 𝓕𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓾𝓪𝓻𝔂 14, 2026, the Teen Support Group of General Santos City, together with the City Population Management Office, successfully conducted a face-to-face 𝚄𝟺𝚄 𝚃𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝚃𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚕 𝚊𝚝 𝙱𝚛𝚐𝚢. 𝙼𝚊𝚋𝚞𝚑𝚊𝚢.

The participants experienced both learning and enjoyment as they engaged in the U4U panel topics, Teen Color, Teen Chat, and a sing-along jam with Teen Tunes. This activity aimed to share knowledge and promote awareness and prevention among the youth regarding current issues affecting them. The participants actively participated and connected with us, leading to meaningful discussions and engagement throughout the day.

It was an interactive learning experience facilitated by the TSG Federation officers and the Youth Coordinator of the City Population Management Office – General Santos City.

In line with this activity, the Teen Support Group would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for allowing us to spread knowledge and awareness. We also extend our sincere thanks to 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗜𝗜 for the support and partnership that made this activity possible.

The Commission on Population and Development (CPD) proudly celebrates 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 this coming 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮–𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, with the theme “𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗮!”

This year’s observance embodies the essence of the theme — a call to build a 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘸𝘢 (comfortable and secure) population and a 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘭𝘢 (dynamic and thriving) community. It highlights a people-centered approach, recognizing that when every Filipino’s basic needs are met — from health and education to livelihood and empowerment — our communities become more resilient, active, and united.

By understanding and managing population dynamics, we move closer to a future where each person can live with dignity and opportunity, contributing to a society that is both prosperous and vibrant.

As the school year 2023-2024 has officially ended, it is indeed a celebration for each students of the Class 2024, for all of their hardships, sacrifices, and sleepless nights have been all paid off.

They've shown their commitment in reaching their dreams, unleashing their full potentials, and building their self-confidence by being diligent, resilient, and dedicated to their will and passion.

All of the knowledge, wisdom, skills, conduct, and moral that they have learned will not only be a memory but a great experience and a stepping stone in another journey of their lives.
