The Supreme Student Council calls on the MSU-GenSan community to remain vigilant against unregulated social media pages, accounts, or platforms using the Universityโs name, identity, or affiliation without proper authorization.
An unregulated page has recently circulated alarming information alongside derogatory, offensive, and inappropriate comments that may mislead members of the community and create an unsafe digital environment. To be clear, the page is not an official communication channel of Mindanao State University-General Santos, and its content should not be interpreted as representing the University or its recognized offices and organizations.

Do not engage in harassment, threats, or retaliatory comments. Let the proper reporting mechanisms do their work.
The SSC likewise encourages the community to document relevant posts or screenshots when necessary and elevate concerns to the appropriate University authorities for proper verification and action.
The well-being of students remains a shared responsibility, including in digital spaces. Online environment should uphold safety, respect, and responsible engagement among all constituents.
Across the University, basic human decency, respect for individual dignity, and adherence to appropriate standards of conduct must remain fundamental in every form of interaction, online and offline.
