The Rotary Club of Midtown General Santos held its 10th Regular Meeting on October 15, 2026, at Jessami Bistro. Fellow Rotarians gathered to discuss club updates, upcoming activities, and important matters concerning the club.

The meeting also strengthened fellowship and cooperation among members as they continued their commitment to Rotary’s mission of service. Together, the club remains dedicated to making a positive difference in the community through meaningful projects and service activities.

October 10, 2026 – Area 2FGH of Rotary District 3860 successfully celebrated Pink October through the Pink Walk, Pink Zumba, and Pink Forum held at Robinsons Place Gensan. The event brought Rotarians together for a common purpose: to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this activity successful, especially the Rotary Club of Greater General Santos for leading the celebration. We also extend our gratitude to District Governor Arlene Adlawan for gracing the event and to all participating Rotarians for their valuable support. Together, we stand for awareness, prevention, and hope!

Rotary District 3860 Area 2FGH Tree-Growing Activity

In support of environmental conservation and community development, the Rotary Clubs of District 3860 Area 2FGH gathered at Barangay Olympog, General Santos City, for a tree-growing activity on September 26, 2027.

Led by the Rotary Club of Metro Dadiangas, a total of 250 seedlings of various tree species were planted. The activity reflects the Rotarians’ commitment to promoting a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment for future generations.

Heartfelt appreciation to PAG Mark Jerome Tiongson for welcoming and hosting the activity. The activity was not only about planting trees, but also about strengthening unity, service, and shared responsibility in caring for the environment.

8th Regular Meeting | September 17, 2026

The Rotary Club of Midtown General Santos City held its 8th Regular Meeting at Jessami Bistro, General Santos City, on September 17, 2026.

The meeting was filled with engaging discussions and meaningful exchanges as members tackled the upcoming District events and explored plans for the club’s future projects and activities.

On September 12, 2026, the Rotary leaders of Areas 2FGH gathered at Kalsangi, Polomolok for their 3rd Area Coordination Meeting (ACOM). Presidents, Secretaries, Assistant Governors, and District Officers came together to exchange updates, share club accomplishments, and align plans for upcoming Rotary activities.

The meeting was filled with meaningful discussions, fellowship, and renewed commitment to service. Upcoming initiatives such as Tree Growing and Pink October were among the projects discussed, highlighting the importance of teamwork and collaboration in creating positive change.

September 10, 2026 | Pickleball Game & Fellowship

The Rotary Club of Midtown General Santos gathered for a fun-filled evening of pickleball, fellowship, and friendly competition. It was a great opportunity to stay active, enjoy the game, and strengthen friendships among fellow Rotarians.

Sweats, good food, and good conversations made the evening even more enjoyable. A simple gathering filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the true spirit of fellowship.

An evening of meaningful conversations, shared visions, and genuine Rotary fellowship marked the Governor’s Visit of the Rotary Club of Midtown General Santos.

We were truly honored to welcome District Governor Arlene J. Adlawan, together with Area 2F Assistant Governor Rogelio Rallos, Jr., District Executive Secretary Mylene Baura, and District Membership Coordinator- General Santos PAG Mark Jerome Tiongson.

The evening was more than just a visit—it was an opportunity to listen, learn, exchange ideas, and strengthen our commitment to Service Above Self. The inspiring discussions gave our members fresh perspectives and renewed energy as we continue shaping our plans and projects for Rotary Year 2026–2027.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, participated, shared their thoughts, and simply made the evening memorable. Your presence reminds us that Rotary is not only about projects—it is also about people, friendships, teamwork, and a shared passion to serve.

Strengthening Collaboration | Area 2FGH ACOM

August 15, 2026 | Altori Bistro, General Santos City

Rotary District 3860 Area 2FGH gathered for the Area Coordination Meeting (ACOM) at Altori Bistro, General Santos City. The meeting focused on upcoming activities, future plans, and strengthening collaboration among clubs. Breakout sessions also provided an opportunity to reflect on and share insights from our past club activities. With great food, great attendance, and meaningful discussions, it was truly a productive day of Rotary fellowship and teamwork.

The Rotary Club of Midtown General Santos successfully held its 5th Regular Meeting & Fellowship on August 6, 2026, at Cafe Firenzo, Sun City Suites, General Santos City. Members turned out in great numbers, making the evening lively and full of positive energy.

The fellowship was filled with meaningful discussions, warm camaraderie, and plenty of laughter. It was another enjoyable gathering that reflected the club’s strong bond and commitment to serving the community while fostering lasting friendships.
