𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦!

Philippine Nurses Association-General Santos City Chapter warmly congratulate the Chapter's very own Vice President for Programs and Development, 𝗖𝗹𝘆𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, 𝗖𝗛𝗔, 𝗗𝗠-𝗛𝗥𝗠, 𝗣𝗵𝗗𝗡, for successfully presenting his dissertation study and awarded 2𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 2𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒓 (𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒐𝒓𝒚) during the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐎𝐇 𝐂𝐇𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐂𝐂𝐒𝐊𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 held this March 17-18, 2026 at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.

Dr. Baculio showed competence and confidence delivering the fruit of his labor in his immensely complex but relevant study on family empowerment for TB treatment. His study paved way for call to action for policy refinement in the implementation of TB treatment in the country.

Philippine Nurses Association-General Santos City Chapter is mourning on the tragic death of a dear colleague and active PNA-Gensan Chapter Member, Nhiezer Rolliene Jane U. Aguacito, RN.

PNA-Gensan Chapter would like to extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, and friends of Ma'am Aguacito. Our empathy and prayers to you..🙏🙏🙏

With deep sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved alumna, Nhiezer Rolliene Jane U. Aguacito, RN, who tragically lost her life in a violent incident in General Santos City on February 2, 2026.

Nhiezer was a proud graduate of Sultan Kudarat State University – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Batch 2024) and will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit. Her untimely passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, mentors, and the entire SKSU community.

We extend our sincerest condolences to the Aguacito family and stand with them in this time of grief as they seek justice and healing. Our thoughts and prayers are also with her batchmates and loved ones who are mourning this painful loss.

As we grieve, let us continue to support one another and honor Nhiezer’s memory by choosing compassion, peace, and love.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊! PNA-Gensan Chapter joyfully distributed packed meals and rendered health education to the orphans of St. Agnes of Montepulciano at Baluan, General Santos City, last December 14, 2025. This activity was in collaboration with Dr. Ma. Irene A. Dayon, RN, the Chapter's very own Vice President for Finance, as part of her usual advocacy of helping the children of this orphanage.

The activity was also participated by Dr. Jules Alexis B. Dajay, RN, the Chapter's President and Dr. Clyde Cyril L. Baculio, RN, the Chapter's Vice President for Programs and Development, who delivered an age-appropriate health teachings about Mental Health and Reproductive Health.

PNA-Gensan Chapter is not only committed to the welfare of its constituents but also dedicated to reach out and provide valuable help to the community through its corporate social responsibility activities. Kudos PNA-Gensan Chapter.

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸! PNA-Gensan Chapter warmly congratulate 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝗼, 𝗥𝗡, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, for being awarded 𝑴𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑶𝒖𝒕𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒍𝒖𝒎𝒏𝒊 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 by her Alma Mater, Davao Doctors College.

Ma'am Aster is currently the Chief Nurse of St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City. She holds administrative functions and serves as an inspiration to many nurses, especially to her fellow nursing leaders in Gensan. She also affirms the goals and aspirations of the Chapter through her constant support and participation.

The 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 and 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔-𝑺𝒂𝒓𝑮𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 converged this November 07, 2025 at the Board Room of Mindanao Medical Center for a very important meeting to plan out activities and events for the good sake of its general membership.

The activity was not only a simple meeting but the convergence of SarGen's nursing leaders exemplified true unity and teamwork. The discussion was full of meaningful conversations and exchange of ideas for many activities such as 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬' 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞.

PNA and ANSAP are both dedicated and passionate in its mission of serving its constituents and hopeful for the continued support of its members.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎: Congratulations to PNA Gensan's very own President, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗕. 𝗗𝗮𝗷𝗮𝘆, for being one of the finalists and for successfully presenting his ground-breaking case study entitled "𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒃𝒊𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆: 𝑨 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈" during the Research Poster Presentation at the 2025 PNA National Annual Convention held at Davao City last October 21, 2025.

His research fills in the knowledge and theoretical gaps in understanding the cooperative relationship of continuous professional development and effective implementation of evidence-based practice. This study ultimately led to the development of an essential model called 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 that explains how organizational culture affects learning and practice which contributes better patient outcomes.
