RAC-GG-SIS Joins in Community Service with Rotary Club of Greater General Santos and Laurelle Veterinary Clinic 🐾💙

On July 26, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Greater General Santos – Stratford International School (RAC-GG-SIS) proudly attended and participated in the 2nd Anniversary Celebration of Laurelle Veterinary Clinic, held at Ajeno Building, Yumang Street, Brgy. San Isidro, General Santos City.

The event, spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Greater General Santos in partnership with Laurelle Veterinary Clinic, was dedicated to promoting pet health, responsible ownership, and community care. As part of the celebration, fur-parents and their beloved pets enjoyed a variety of free and discounted services, including:
✅ Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination for the first 100 pets
✅ Free Pet Consultations
✅ Discounted Core Vaccines and Deworming
✅ Exciting Giveaways and Special Offers

RAC-GG-SIS members were present to show support and solidarity in this meaningful activity, emphasizing the club’s commitment to Service Above Self not only for the community but also for the welfare of animals who are part of every home. By joining this initiative, the club continues to embody the Rotaract spirit of youth in action, promoting healthier, happier, and more compassionate communities.

💙🐾 Through partnerships like this, we are reminded that service comes in many forms—and sometimes, it has four paws and a wagging tail!

Last July 26, 2025, the Rotaract Club of Greater General Santos – Stratford International School (RAC-GG-SIS) proudly joined the Rotary Club of Greater General Santos and fellow clubs from Areas 2F and 2G at Robinsons GenSan for the Rotary Give for Life: Bloodletting Day 2025 — a united effort to help save lives through voluntary blood donation.

𝙍𝘼𝘾-𝙂𝙂-𝙎𝙄𝙎 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙍𝘿𝙇 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧 2025: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨

The Rotaract Club of GG-SIS had the incredible opportunity to participate in the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 (𝗥𝗗𝗟𝗦) held from May 2–4, 2025 at Paraiso Verde Hotel and Resort in Koronadal City.

Our club was proudly represented by 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆-𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, and members 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗱 and 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘇—each of whom embraced the chance to learn, grow, and connect with fellow Rotaractors from around the district.

We are deeply thankful to our mother club for their constant support and mentorship. Carrying home fresh insights, strengthened leadership skills, and ignited passion, we are ready to lead with purpose and make the upcoming Rotary year even more impactful, dynamic, and driven by 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛.

"Sadaqah" (صدقة) means voluntary charity—a selfless act of giving that brings blessings to both the giver and receiver. As we celebrate 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 10–16), we put service into action through "𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗾𝗮𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸."
