The Global Youth-Led Movement on Ending Violence Against Children, with the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) and the ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children (ACWC) are co- organizing the โ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐๐ต-๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐ด๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป (๐๐ฉ๐๐) ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ-๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐโ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ฐ-๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐, ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฝ๐ผ๐น๐ผ, ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น.
The summit is expected to gather 100-150 young leaders from across the Asia- Pacific to strengthen youth leadership, co create innovative solutions to prevent violence against children, and develop a unified youth agenda in preparation for the 2nd Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children.
With this, the National Youth Commission shall nominate eight (8) participants composed of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials and members of the Youth Organization and Registration Program (YORP) who shall be the official representatives of the Philippines in this gathering. Kindly refer below for the specific eligibility and criteria to qualify as a participant:
ELIGIBILITY:
โ Applicant must be a 15-25 years old Filipino citizen and a member of a YORP-registered organization or SK officials who has an interest or leadership in at least one summit theme: child sexual exploitation and abuse, corporal punishment, child labour, or child marriage.
โ They should be actively engaged in a community, school, organization, or youth network to represent and share youth perspectives. Delegates must communicate effectively in English, have access to a basic electronic device and reliable internet for virtual sessions, and be able to collaborate respectfully in diverse, youth-led, cross-country teams.
EXPENSES:
โ Accommodation and meals throughout the program, April 13 17, 2026 (inclusive of ingress and egress) are shouldered by the organizers.
โ Transportation to and from the venue is shouldered by the participant or sending local government units/organization.
