The SELF LOVE, KC - Kabataang Calumpang (SLKC) Committee on Reduction of Violence officially launched the 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖 in partnership with SK Calumpang, General Santos City , marking a major milestone in the journey toward a VAWC-free community. The initiative kicked off with the 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺, where experts from the FPOP-SOCCSKSARGEN Chapter , 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙤 and 𝙍𝙎𝙒 𝙉𝙚𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤 provided crucial insights into the intersection of mental health and foundational VAWC knowledge, including essential referral pathways. As one of the participants noted during the program, "𝘞𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦" highlighting the strong campaign against violence.

The event was a powerful display of solidarity, bringing together individuals from across the gender spectrum to prove that gender is irrelevant when facing the common enemy of violence. To solidify this commitment, the forum concluded with a 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 where participants signed their names, posted stickers, and wrote heartfelt messages of support. This wall will not remain stationary; it is set to be displayed in every institution across Barangay Calumpang, allowing everyone in the community to witness and join this stand against violence.

In the weeks following the commencement of PACE, SLKC successfully conducted its Pre-Annual Planning, Strategic Financial Planning, and Annual Planning sessions in preparation for the organization’s 2026 programs and initiatives. The activities gathered members and leaders to review past accomplishments, discuss upcoming projects, and ensure that all planned initiatives are well-organized, responsive to community needs, and aligned with the organization’s vision for service and development.

The planning sessions also emphasized community health and well-being, integrating programs that promote physical, mental, and social wellness among beneficiaries. Through careful planning and responsible management of resources, SLKC aims to implement sustainable and impactful initiatives that foster stronger community participation, encourage healthier lifestyles, and support positive community growth in the coming year.

The 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚) 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, in 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘄 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 , successfully conducted the 𝗛𝗜𝗩/𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗣𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 together with the classroom majors of our school. This activity marks the 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦.

We are honored by the presence of 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝗮, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 – 𝗙𝗣𝗢𝗣-𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗖𝗦𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, who shared valuable knowledge about 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦 and assisted in the 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺𝘀 as part of promoting safe and responsible health practices among the youth.

The Supreme Secondary Learners’ Government (SSLG)’s 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙪𝙢 has been conducted today, March 9, 2026, themed “𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨”. 🏋🏻‍♀️ Aligned with this year’s 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉, the students from GSCNHS gathered at the 𝑻𝒂𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒍 for a powerful celebration of voice, strength, and vision.
