𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲: 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Continuing its efforts to support those affected by the earthquake, the Plant Science Students’ Society carried out the Collaborative Phase 2 of its Donation Drive Initiative for fellow reapers.

This phase was made possible through the collaboration of the College of Agriculture Students’ Society, Animal Science Department, ABM Department, ABE Department, Rodeo Club, and SK Fatima.

On June 13, 2026, volunteers delivered relief assistance to affected College of Agriculture constituents from General Santos City, Maasim, Malapatan, and Glan. The relief operation reached different barangays across General Santos City and Sarangani Province. Through this initiative, more than 30 relief packs were successfully distributed to the students and their families affected by the earthquake.

As of this phase, PHP 5,000.00 from the total amount raised was allocated for the Collaborative Phase 2 Relief Operation. The remaining PHP 1,650.00 will be used for Phase 3 of the PSSS Food and Water Donation Drive, intended for affected families in Hicban, Lagao.

PSSS sincerely thanks all partner organizations, departments, volunteers, and individuals who helped make this collaborative phase possible. Your support and service continue to bring hope and assistance to our fellow students and communities in need.

As of today, our donation drive for the victims of the M7.8 Mindanao Earthquake has raised a total of 𝗣𝗵𝗽 𝟮𝟭,𝟴𝟬𝟬. This collective effort reflects the compassion, generosity, and solidarity of our College of Agriculture community and partners.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the different departments and organizations under the College of Agriculture, together with SK Brgy. Fatima, and all individuals who generously shared their blessings in support of this cause.
Your contributions bring hope and much-needed assistance to families affected by this devastating calamity.

𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲: 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁

In response to the recent earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8, 2026, the Plant Science Students Society, in partnership with Aqualife Water Refilling Station, owned by Sir Dado Cawit, and the Tuani Family, launched a Food and Water Donation Drive to extend support to affected communities.

As of writing, the initiative has raised a total amount of PHP 8,300.00, which has been allocated into three phases:

Phase 1: PHP 1,650.00 – Purok Felomina, Barangay Calumpang
Phase 2: PHP 5,000.00 – Sarangani Province, in collaboration with CASS
Phase 3: PHP 1,650.00 – Hicban, Lagao

On June 12, 2026, PSSS carried out Phase 1 of the donation drive in Purok Felomina, Barangay Calumpang, General Santos City. In coordination with the Purok Felomina Council, led by Purok Chairwoman Ma’am Joana Matillano together with her council, the organization delivered a humble hot meal of Arroz Caldo and mineral water to families affected by the earthquake.

Through this effort, more than 150 cups of Arroz Caldo and 242 liters of mineral water were distributed to the families of Purok Felomina, Calumpang.

This initiative may be simple, but we hope it brought warmth, comfort, and support to the community during this difficult time.

PSSS would like to sincerely thank everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this donation drive possible. Special thanks to Aqualife Water Refilling Station, the Tuani Family, Purok Chairwoman Ma’am Joana Matillano, and the Purok Felomina Council for assisting and helping make Phase 1 possible.
