Sa panahon ng matinding hamon, mas lalong kinakailangan ang mga pamahayagang pangkampus. Habang patuloy na nararamdaman ng komunidad ng MSU GenSan ang epekto ng 7.8 magnitude na lindol, hindi dapat patahimikin ang mga boses na naghahanap ng kasagutan. Sa gitna ng mga pasilidad na nangangailangan ng agarang pagsasaayos, mga estudyanteng naghihintay ng katiyakan, at mga suliraning nananatiling nakabimbin, tungkulin ng campus press na ilahad ang tunay na kalagayan ng pamantasan.

Dahil hindi sapat ang katahimikan kapag may mga isyung humihingi ng agarang aksyon at solusyon. Hindi sapat ang pag-iwas habang naghihintay ang komunidad ng malinaw na direksyon. Hindi sapat ang kawalan ng tugon habang lumalalim ang pangamba ng mga iskolar ng bayan.

Ang mga mamamahayagang pangkampus ay hindi basta tagapagbalita. Sila ang nagsisilbing tinig ng mga estudyanteng naghahanap ng pananagutan, transparensya, at pagkilos mula sa mga may kapangyarihang tumugon.

Sa tulong ng inyong kabutihang-loob, naging matagumpay ang relief operation sa mga lugar na naapektuhan tulad ng Malapatan. Ang CESO at sama-samang bayanihan ng ating mga officers, volunteers, at donors, nakapaghatid po tayo ng relief goods at malinis na tubig inumin para sa mga pamilyang lubos na naapektuhan ng lindol.

In the wake of the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake that affected many communities across Mindanao, the College of Education Students Organization (CESO) launches a donation drive to extend support to our fellow Mentors and everyone who are facing immense challenges and uncertainty.

As families strive to recover from the impact of this calamity, we call upon the spirit of bayanihan to help provide essential relief and basic necessities to those most affected. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference in bringing comfort, hope, and assistance to individuals and families in need.

โ€Ž The Mindanao State University โ€“ General Santos College of Education proudly produced 32 topnotchers in the recently concluded March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). Among them were 17 alumni from the Bachelor of Elementary Education program, 9 graduates from the pioneering batch of the Bachelor of Physical Education program, and 6 alumni from the Bachelor of Secondary Education program.

From the Bachelor of Elementary Education program, 17 alumni secured spots among the top examinees. Monette L. Yap emerged as Top 1 with an overall rating of 95.00%, followed by Ma. Claire H. Diรฑo who ranked Top 3 with 94.40%. Princess Hafsah B. Bantu, Irene Mae S. Flores, Ledelyn G. Macion, Queenie R. Maulana, and Venus Marie P. Paglinawan all placed Top 5 with ratings of 93.80%. Chevin Glenn N. Base ranked Top 7 with 93.40%, while Norsalin S. Ali, Robalyn A. Del Corpo, Analyn M. Eslao, Lynrd O. Jayawon, Kyla Denise V. Monteza, Jolly May D. Sombrio, and Teresa C. Daytic secured Top 8 rankings with 93.20%. Albert John S. Tan earned Top 9 with a rating of 93.00%, and Esmila Mae Taclindo completed the list as Top 10 with 92.70%.

The pioneering graduates of the Bachelor of Physical Education program also achieved remarkable success, producing nine topnotchers. Princess Amor Peroy ranked Top 5 with an overall rating of 94.20%, while Korinne Piscos Flores placed Top 6 with 94.00%. Hannie Jade Hinlog earned Top 7 with 93.80%, and Lore Grace Masiad secured Top 8 with 93.60%. Roxanne Peal Campomanes and Carlo Navarro both ranked Top 9 with 93.40%, while Febritz Marie Laguda achieved Top 10 with an overall rating of 93.20%.

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Secondary Education program produced six outstanding topnotchers. Bryan Jay Cabatingan from EdBio ranked Top 3 with an overall rating of 94.60%, while fellow EdBio graduate Ralvin Visaga Pamolino secured Top 5 with 94.20%. From EdEng, Alliah Joyce Gulle placed Top 7 with 93.80%. In addition, EdBio graduates Sitchille Mae Alac, Christine Mae Balunto, and Nicole Nomananap all ranked Top 9 with overall ratings of 93.40%.
