Deep-sea mining threatens our marine biodiversity, coastal livelihoods, and climate stability. We've already seen the devastating effects of near-shore seabed mining in the Lingayen Gulf.

The International Seabed Authority (ISA) is set to finalize rules by June 2025 that could open the deep sea to large-scale mining.

The groundbreaking and award-winning project of SK Calumpang is back and is now opening its way for young policymakers of Calumpang. Join us and be part of the second year of the Calumpang Youth Parliament with a theme, "The Podium: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Youth-Led Governance and Policy Reform."

From November 23 to December 6-8, participants will undergo a comprehensive training program that includes workshops, seminars, and practical parliamentary procedures. This journey will allow them to craft policies focused on various social sectors, fostering growth and positive change in Calumpang.

The Calumpang Youth Parliament has now once again come to order and we are more excited than ever to meet the next batch of young Calumpang leaders.
