TORQUE HISTORY
The history, TORQUE CDO Bikers (was its first club name) originated from Cagayan de Oro City where it all started, and revised it into TORQUE – Suzuki Raider Club after creating various satellite chapters in neighboring Cities and Municipalities near Northern Mindanao. TORQUE was founded by a group of friends in Cagayan de Oro who shared the same passion on owning and riding the u
ndisputed Suzuki Raider R150 Underbone Bike. It is a group of professional riders wherein this group was established on March 8, 2009 that started with only 7-15 pioneering members to promote camaraderie and friendship in motorcycle riding until it came to a point that this motorcycle club has expanded to various chapters due to its name and recognition from the local underbone motorcycle scene such as Motorshow competitions, Touring Rides and various Drag Racing events such as the infamous Suzuki Raider Breed Wars. At present (2011), the club has expanded into 6 Chapters namely: Iligan, Cagayan de Oro (Mother Chapter), Malaybalay- Bukidnon, Gingoog, Butuan, and just recently at San Francisco - Agusan del Sur. The club is also at present, is duly registered/ accredited at the Security Exchange Commission (SEC). The bonding of the group has no limit and has one common goal which is to make our club meet the quality of good riders, well-discipline & obeying traffic rules & regulations, adhering road courtesy. The club aim to promote friendship and good relationship from one club to another. Presently, the club has a lot of plans not only for us as a group but for the good of the community as well. One of our guidelines is to make the “Suzuki” Raider 150cc sacred to the club and we strictly prohibit anyone form of uniform or style of jersey mark with other brands of motorcycle while riding their “Suzuki” Raider 150cc or using other brand of motorcycle while wearing their “Suzuki” jersey on uniform. The Club is not here to boast in gaining popularity, not here for quantity but rather we aim for quality among members to adhere good relationship among other clubs alike. TORQUE is composed of rider hobbyists and enthusiasts that share the same passion, the love to ride among other riders, the freedom and the feel of the wind while riding their Suzuki Raider R150. We are here to unwind and to stray away from our daily routine in work and stress. In TORQUE there is no pressure, yet as a club, cooperation, respect and understanding will always be practiced amongst one another as to have harmonious and close bonding ties towards each and every member alike.
