As our relief operations come to a close, Angat Generals just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who answered our call for help after the earthquake.

We know that many, if not all, of you were dealing with your own fears and uncertainties. Some of you were affected by the earthquake yourselves. But despite everything, you still chose to show up and help.

Whether you packed relief goods, cooked meals, unloaded supplies, distributed aid, or simply gave your time and energy wherever it was needed, every single act of kindness made a difference.

Please extend our heartfelt thanks to your families, friends, and loved ones who supported you, encouraged you, or even served alongside you. Their quiet support made your service possible, and they are very much a part of this effort too.

To our donors and partners, thank you for your generosity, for every donation, and for lending your resources to make this response possible. We simply could not have done this without you.

Because of you, thousands of families received not just relief, but a reminder that they were not alone.

Lastly, our deepest gratitude to Angat Buhay, who literally reached out within minutes after the earthquake struck. Even as the situation was still unfolding, they were already coordinating with us and mobilizing support. Their immediate response, trust, and unwavering commitment made it possible for us to reach thousands of families when they needed help the most.

The outpouring of support we received was truly overwhelming. It was a powerful reminder that if there’s one thing that can never be taken away from Filipinos, it’s our ability to come together when it matters most.

As of today, June 22, we are officially closing our Monetary and In-Kind Donation Channels for our earthquake response operations in General Santos and nearby communities.

To every individual, family, organization, and partner who chose to give, maraming salamat po. Your generosity made it possible for us to respond swiftly and bring relief to thousands of families affected by the earthquake. Every donation, whether big or small, translated to hope for communities during one of their most difficult moments.

While our emergency relief operations are coming to a close, our commitment does not end here. We remain dedicated in service as we transition to the rehabilitation phase.

From all of us, and on behalf of the communities you have helped, thank you for standing with us when it mattered most.

Call for Help: Earthquake Relief for Gensan, Sarangani, and Nearby Communities

A powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake has left thousands of families in General Santos City, Sarangani, and neighboring towns facing immense challenges. Many have lost their homes, access to basic necessities, and a sense of security.

In times like these, every act of kindness matters.

We are humbly calling on everyone who is able to extend assistance through monetary or in-kind donations. Immediate needs include:
💧 Bottled water
🍚 Rice, canned goods, and ready-to-eat food
🛏️ Sleeping mats and blankets
⛺ Tents and tarpaulins for temporary shelter
🧼 Hygiene kits (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.)

Donations may be dropped off at our designated relief center or sent through the donation channels indicated in the attached posters.

No contribution is too small. Together, we can bring hope, comfort, and relief to families affected by this disaster.
