GHPP participated during the Governance (TAP-G) Project, conducted a CSOs and communities’ orientation on livelihood project in Suguda Buayan cluster area on May 30–31, 2025.

The CBCS- TAP-G Project Manager, Ismael Kulat underscores the primary objectives of the said activity: Establish Mutual Understanding: Facilitate a shared comprehension of the project’s goals, processes, and anticipated outcomes between Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and community members; Foster Collaboration: Promote smooth cooperation and collaborative efforts between CSOs and the community, ensuring effective project implementation and addressing community needs; Instill Ownership: Encourage a sense of ownership among both CSOs and community members, ensuring they feel responsible for the project’s success, maintenance, and long-term sustainability; and Prepare for Project Transition: Equip the community with the knowledge and understanding necessary for the eventual turnover of the project to the CSOs, emphasizing the importance of continued engagement and maintenance to ensure long-term benefits.

𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙎𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 (𝘽𝙆𝙆) 🕊🏳️‍🏥

The Barkadahan Para sa Kapayapaan at Kaligtasan is a one (1) day activity where student leaders will be convened in selected venue of the GHPP. In the selection of the beneficiary schools, the GHPP will give priority to those that has the greatest number of students and are situated in conflict-affected areas. The activity will include a series of lectures and interactive discussions focusing on leadership, role of the youth in nation-building, situation of the peace process, understanding of the cultural diversity in the province, and the fight against drugs and criminality, as well as emergency & disaster preparation for students.

𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙎𝙖 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 (𝘽𝙆𝙆): Peace Building activity is one of the Give Hope Project for Peace Flagship Program. Two (2) BKK was conducted in Province of Sarangani (Kiamba and Alabel) last 2024 in partnership with Provincial Task Force ELCAC Sarangani, MAHINTANA Foundation, Dolefil Cares.

Provincial Disaster Management Office, AFP, PDEA and Coast Guard provided essential lectures for the students/participants.

𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙄𝙏

Community visit was conducted by Consortium of Bangsomoro Civil Society (CBCS) in partnership with Give Hope Project for Peace and Barangay Local Government of Lapu to conduct assesement on the Former Violent Extremist of the said barangay for their future livelihood assistance.

During the community visit Ustads Ibrahim Sandigan of CBCS, Ms. Norehan N. Usop of GHPP, Ms. Aida Sedic of National Commission on Muslim Affairs Provincial Director, Hon. Redzkie Dumato and Hon. Mercy Alonzo and CPT Rogie Muñoz of 5th SF were present.

Barkadahan Para Sa Kapayapaan : “CAMPUS PEACE SYMPOSIUM 2024” is a flagship program of GHPP where leaders of different student organizations will be convened in selected Secondary Schools of Sarangani will be chosen by the Provincial Task Force ELCAC and Armed Forces of the Philippines, prioritizing those that has the most number of students and are situated in conflict-affected areas. There will be series of lectures and interactive discussions focusing on leadership, role of the youth in nation building, situation of the peace process, understanding of the cultural diversity in the province, and the fight against drugs and criminality.

Give Hope Project for Peace in partnership with different organization and stakeholders is launching another 𝘽𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙀 𝙋𝙀𝙎𝙊𝙎 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙉𝙂𝙀 (𝙋20.00) to help the children in remote areas of South Cotabao and Sarangani Province.

𝙋𝙇𝘼𝙔 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙋𝙀𝘼𝘾𝙀 is a flagship program of GHPP since 2019 that aims to visit children in far flung areas to help them eliminate the anxiety cause by conflict and replace them with happiness through child friendly and gift giving activities.

GHPP particiapate to the Inter-Cultural Leaders Community Visioning toward Developing Peoples Agenda conducted by Consortium of Bangsamo Civil Society last July 20, 2024 at Grand Sumit Hotel, General Santos City. The activity aim to craft Peoples agenda that can provide platform to capture the collective aspirations and concerns of people in the community by consolidating concerns into cohesive document.

The crafted agenda serves as representation of public sentiments enabling key decision-makers to make more informed and responsive decisions.
