The ๐‚๐˜๐… ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐’๐‘๐ƒ is tasked with maintaining an updated membership profile of the CYF. This helps us know how many CYF members we have across our organization and allows us to identify members who may be able to share their gifts, skills, talents, and experience in various CYF and church programs.

With grateful hearts and a shared commitment to serve, the SCSDC-CYF successfully held its 1st Regular Meeting on September 5, 2026, at the UCCP Lagao Conference Hall. It was a meaningful time of fellowship, planning, and collaboration as our youth leaders gathered to discuss important matters, strengthen our ministry, and work together toward a Christ-centered vision for the CYF.

โ€ŽThe journey continues! Day 2 of the SEMJA CYF Onboarding & Turnover Ceremony brought meaningful learning, deeper connections, and a stronger commitment to serve at UCCP Toril, Davao City.

โ€ŽWe started the day with a Morning Devotion facilitated by Kristine Kate Berdin, reflecting on the journey โ€œFrom Small Groups to Big Group.โ€

โ€ŽThe morning continued with the Roles and Responsibilities Orientation, covering Administration, Community and Ecumenical work facilitated by Kuya Bayan, and Finance by Ate Noreen. This was followed by the presentation of the Synchronized Program facilitated by the SEMJA Admin Officers and the Budget Allocation led by the Finance Team.

โ€ŽIn the afternoon, Coleen Fuentes, ADC CYF President and SEMJA Secretary, led HIV 101, featuring a symposium and HIV-free screening that promoted awareness, understanding, and care.

โ€ŽThe day then came alive through an energetic Team Building facilitated by Kristine Kate Berdin and our National Speakers, creating moments of laughter, teamwork, and stronger fellowship.

โ€ŽDay 1 was filled with moments of worship, fellowship, learning, and getting to know one another. We started with Opening Worship BTR with CM Amy Rafalez, carrying the theme โ€œWalking Through Jesus: Journeying with the Anawim.โ€

โ€ŽThe day continued with Pailaยฒ / Group Dynamics: โ€œGetting to Know Each Other with a Twist,โ€ followed by a meaningful session with CM Jolly Tubo of ADC Agusan District Conference on the CYF roles and UCCP VMGO. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ“–

โ€ŽWith fellowship over lunch and dinner, Day 1 became more than just an onboarding. It became the first step toward building a stronger community of young people committed to serving God and others.

Last Sunday, August 9, 2026, the CYF and ExeCom came together for our Annual Visita Iglesiaโ€”visiting local churches to share Godโ€™s Word, strengthen Christian fellowship, encourage spiritual growth, and deepen the bond among our local churches.

A heartfelt thank you to all CYF members who continue to serve with willing hearts, joyful spirits, and genuine love for God and His people. This celebration reminds us that wherever we go, we are called to walk together, serve together, and grow together in faith.
