On 170900 May 2026, the Holy Trinity College ROTC Unit, under the administration of the 1203rd Community Defense Center, 12th Regional Community Defense Group, RESCOM, PA, proudly celebrated its Graduation Ceremony for Academic Year 2025–2026. The activity was initiated by the Training Staff under the supervision of MAJ CYRUS LUIGI L DEL MURO (INF) PA, Commandant of the Holy Trinity College ROTC Unit.
A symbolic turnover of command preceded the graduation rites, wherein outgoing Corps Commander CDT COL PRINCE GILOU L FAUSTO (1CL) formally passed the mantle of leadership to incoming Corps Commander CDT CPT BENJ JOHN O ROSETE (2CL). This tradition underscored the continuity of excellence and the enduring spirit of the corps.
LTC JOSEMAR T ALBANO (JAGS) PA (RES), NSTP Director and ROTC Coordinator, delivered an inspirational message. He highlighted recent discussions in the Senate regarding national security and the role of reservists, citing the remarks on strengthening citizen-soldier participation in defense and disaster response. He emphasized that as long as one has a healthy body and a willing spirit, one could serve the nation — a message that resonated deeply with the graduating cadets. LTC ALBANO commended the cadets for their perseverance and urged them to uphold the values of duty, honor, and service as they stepped into their roles as reservists, emphasizing that their contributions were vital to both national defense and community resilience.
The ceremony further recognized deserving cadets who were awarded the Leadership, Honor, Duty, Loyalty, and Efficiency Medals for their exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment throughout their ROTC training. The awarding ceremony highlighted the cadets’ outstanding display of discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and service, which reflected the core values of the ROTC program. The recognition served as an inspiration to fellow cadets to continue upholding excellence, patriotism, and leadership as future reservists and responsible citizens.
Meanwhile, MAJ CYRUS LUIGI L DEL MURO (INF) PA, Commandant of the Holy Trinity College ROTC Unit, ably represented by 2LT BRANDYL KRISTINE CARDONA PA (RES), Assistant Commandant of the said ROTCU, conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony of graduating ROTC cadets as members of the Standby Reserve Force during the ROTC Graduation Program. The ceremony marked a significant milestone as the cadets formally pledged their commitment to uphold the duties and responsibilities of a reservist. With pride, discipline, and patriotism, the graduates took their oath as a symbol of loyalty and readiness to serve the nation whenever called upon, highlighting the values of honor, service, and responsibility among the youth.
Adding prestige to the activity, COL CLAIREMONT W PINPIN INF (GSC) PA, Commander of Task Force Gensan, 10ID, PA, graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his address, he emphasized the critical role of the youth in nation-building and commended the graduates for completing the rigorous ROTC program. He reminded the cadets that being reservists meant being “always ready, always dependable,” and encouraged them to carry the discipline and values they learned into both military and civilian life. He also reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to supporting ROTC as a breeding ground for future leaders and patriotic citizens. His presence highlighted the importance of the ROTC program in shaping future leaders and underscored the cadets’ vital role in national defense and community service.
The academic year stood as a testament to the HTC ROTC Unit’s unwavering pursuit of excellence. With pride and honor, the corps moved forward carrying the torch of discipline and service. The activity ended at 1130H on the same day.
