A day wrapped in gratitude, laughter, and togetherness.
Last December 19, 2025, from 8:00–12:00 PM at the GSDMSFI AVR, we came together not just to mark the end of the year, but to pause and truly feel everything this season gave us. The shared meals, the familiar faces, the quiet smiles, and the bursts of laughter all reminded us that the best part of any celebration is the people we share it with.
This year had its long days and heavy moments, but it also gifted us with friendships strengthened, memories created, and lessons carried forward. In that room, gratitude filled every corner. For the small wins, the big milestones, the challenges that shaped us, and the people who stayed through it all.
As the year closes, we leave with hearts a little fuller and spirits a little lighter, holding onto these moments as proof that even in busy seasons, there is always time to be thankful. May we carry this warmth into the days ahead, and may we always find our way back to gatherings like this, where stories are shared and memories are made.
Here’s to the year that was, the people who made it meaningful, and the moments we’ll remember long after the photos fade.
See you next year. ✨🤍

DECEMBER HEALTH REMINDER: MOVE WITH PURPOSE 🎄

December brings fuller plates, longer sitting hours, and packed schedules. While the season is meant to be enjoyed, reduced movement paired with extra calories can slowly impact your metabolism and place added load on weight-bearing joints like the knees and hips.

🧠 Physical Therapists emphasize Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon) during this time. MetCon combines strength, mobility, and cardiovascular exercises to improve how the body uses energy. In PT care, it’s designed to be efficient, joint-friendly, and sustainable, helping manage holiday-related weight gain while protecting joints from unnecessary stress.

✨ Supports metabolic health
✨ Reduces joint overload and stiffness
✨ Promotes pain-free movement into the new year

Enjoy the celebrations, but move with purpose. Consistent, intentional activity now helps your body carry you better beyond the holidays.

“Back to Comfort: Understanding Back Pain After Pregnancy”
On November 18, 2025, the second-year Physical Therapy students successfully conducted an educational information drive at Brgy. Dadiangas West, Barangay West Health Center, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The activity focused on raising awareness and deepening understanding of postpartum back pain—one of the most common yet often overlooked concerns among new mothers.

Through comprehensive discussions, evidence-based insights, and practical demonstrations, the students aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge on early management, proper body mechanics, and self-care strategies to ease discomfort after pregnancy. This initiative highlights their dedication to promoting maternal health, enhancing community health literacy, and extending compassionate service beyond the classroom.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
December 3

Let’s raise awareness, promote inclusivity, and celebrate the strength and contributions of persons with disabilities.
Everyone deserves equal access, respect, and opportunities.

Here are important facts and reminders we should all share today:

✔ People with disabilities are the world’s largest minority
✔ Disability is not inability
✔ Accessibility is a right, not a privilege
✔ Inclusion benefits everyone

Let’s advocate for a world that is barrier-free and truly inclusive.
