Grown ups often praise kids for being bright, observant, curious and smart. Compliments are received from parents, teachers, uncles, aunts from peers to even superiors at work.
It's exhilarating to get high marks on a test or get that recognition at work. Wherever it may be, it becomes established that intelligence is useful. Intellect can secure a diploma, a job or whatever one wishes to succeed in "life"
In the eyes of an intellectually secure person, the unseen is received with skepticism but the science of things is easily accepted.
According to Hebrew 11:1, faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. How can the intellectual reconcile with faith in a God that is not yet seen with one's own two eyes?
