The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD)

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To promote people empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug-free and productive.

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) shall enjoin all sectors of the society (the youth and studentry, families, workforces, professional, labor and service provider groups, government agencies and offices (GO and LGU), non-government agencies/organizations, civic as well as religious sectors, and the entire community) to be part of special groups known as “barkadas” that advocate and serve as models to

young people
to live their lives in a productive and healthy way away from the evil effects of drugs. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
GENERAL:
To promote people empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug-free and productive. SPECIFIC:
a. To establish a Barkada Kontra Droga movement;
b. To train the people in advocating a healthy and productive drug-free lifestyle;
c. To create a fully drug-free environment in the home, school, workplace and community;
d. To encourage productive use of time and alternative activities; and
e. To provide support services towards the adoption of Barkada concept among families, educators, professionals, work forces, peer groups, and other sectors.

Barangay Reading And Writing Vacation School LAST Day, Done. ✍🏻👩🏻‍🏫🥳 (🥹)

“Huling Araw ng pagsasamahan pero hindi huling araw ng pagkatuto!”

Ngayong araw April 24, 2026 ginanap ang huling araw ng Barangay Reading And Writing Vacation. Siyempre sa pagtutulungan pa rin ng YAN, KKB at BKD nag-tapos ang aktibidad ng may kaalaman na may kasamang ngiti na baon hanggang sa tahanan. Nais naming magpasalamat sa mga magulang na sumuporta at gumabay sa inyong mga anak upang magkaroon ng panibagong matututunan mapa-summer pa ‘yan! ⛱️🌞 and to all the children who participated thank you for your cooperation, you may not remember this activity in the future but we are sure that the knowledge and happiness we shared together will remain in your hearts. last but definitely not on the list thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers. You guys made all these things possible. 🥹

To Our Almighty God, thank you for giving us strength, unity and unending blessings. This Achievement wouldn’t be possible without your Guide and powerful hands. ALL GRACE IS ALL YOURS ! 🙌🏻

Ngayong araw april 23, 2026 isinagawa ang ika-apat na araw ng Barangay Reading And Writing Vacation School at ipinagdiwang din ang Family Day. Ipinakita na ang pagmamahalan ng pamilya ay isa sa mga nagiging sentro ng ating pagkatuto. ika nga nila “Ang ating tahanan ay ang ating unang eskwelahan, at ang ating mga Ina at pamilya ay ang mga unang nakasaksi at humubog saating sarili” Kaya’t nag-SUCCESS ang YAN, KKB at BKD kasama ang mga mag a-aral, g**o at kanya-kanyang pamilya sa pagsasabuhay ng salitang “Ang pamilya ay Biyaya”.

Tunay ngang “Focus lang sa Goal” ang 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙉𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙖, 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙆𝘿-𝙁𝙉𝘼𝙎 sa pagtuturo ng iba’t ibang kakayahan sa mga kabataan sa eskwelahan ng San Ramon Elementary School — Ito pa lamang ang simula ng naturang Aktibidad ngunit bakas na sa mga ngiti ang tagumpay ng bawat isa.

Last March 10, 2026, the ICT Laboratory of San Jose National High School turned into a hub of digital innovation as 26 talented students from across the cluster gathered for the Cluster 3 BKD Digital Logo Making Contest.

With the guidance of his dedicated coach, Mr. Allkhem C. Moran, EJ Lance crafted a visually stunning digital logo that perfectly captured the spirit of the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD)—symbolizing unity, prevention, and a bright, healthy future for the youth.

✨ THE PRIDE OF FNAS:
Out of the competitive field of participants, Floridablanca National Agricultural School (FNAS) proudly secured 2nd PLACE! 🥈
This achievement isn't just about the medal; it’s about using 21st-century ICT skills to champion a drug-free lifestyle and inspire our fellow students to choose creativity over vice.
