BREAKING: Planet being pushed beyond limits, all climate indicators “flashing red,” warns UN chief.

The amount of heat trapped by the Earth reached record levels in 2025, with the consequences of such warming feared to last for thousands of years, the UN warned Monday.

“The global climate is in a state of emergency. Planet Earth is being pushed beyond its limits. Every key climate indicator is flashing red,” United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said as the UN’s World Meteorological Organization published its annual climate overview. | via Agence France-Presse

After a year’s pause due to academic responsibilities, we proudly return—not just as students, but as graduates from different fields, standing as the strengthened foundation of an organization built in 2022.

With every tree we planted, we carried the message: “Let your next steps grow into forests of hope, courage, and endless possibility.” Today, we lived out that promise, planting not only seedlings but also dreams for a greener and braver future.

We extend our deepest gratitude to CENRO Escalante for their unwavering partnership, guidance, and support that made this activity meaningful and successful. To our volunteers who continuously support and participate in our initiatives, thank you for being the heartbeat of this movement.

Together, may we keep growing as one community, guided by a shared vision and mission, as we build a future that is greener, stronger, and full of hope.
