Due to the changes in the schedule of the University Commencement Exercises for Academic Year 2025–2026, the schedule of the Graduating Students’ Community Engagement and Awareness Program conducted by the Integrated Community Extension Services (ICES) has also been revised.

Please be informed that the previously announced schedule is no longer in effect. All graduating students are advised to refer to the attached revised schedule of activities according to their respective academic programs.

Your participation in the said program is highly encouraged as part of the University’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

An ocular inspection was conducted on March 21, 2026 in Real, Quezon to assess the current situation of the Indigenous People community. This initiative aimed to provide a basis for strategic planning and the development of future programs and services. The activity was conducted in coordination with Mr. Emil Ibera, Ms. Maria Ellen Estares, Mr. Nover Sumanting, and Mr. Benzar Santos Guiao.

Deans, chairs, and representatives from the College of Engineering in the morning and the College of Science in the afternoon participated in the ICES coordination meeting on March 17 for the presentation of the framework and updated procedures and required documents for outreach programs. This whole-day collaboration strengthens alignment and ensures more effective, inclusive, and impactful service for our partner communities, especially our Indigenous Peoples community partners.

The College of Education and Liberal Arts (CELA), through its deans, chairs, and representatives, joined the ICES coordination meeting on March 16, 2026 for the presentation of the ICES framework and enhanced outreach processes. This effort aims to strengthen engagement and create meaningful impact for our partner communities, including our Indigenous Peoples community partners.

This initiative supports more efficient and impactful service for our partner communities, especially our Indigenous Peoples community partners.
