It's with a mix of emotions that we, the officers of Youth Empowering Gender and Development (YEGAD), officially sign off for the academic year 2024-2025! 🌟 What an incredible journey it's been, filled with passion, dedication, and a shared commitment to fostering gender equality and empowering youth.

We've worked tirelessly to create safe spaces, promote awareness, and advocate for positive change within our community. From seminars, services, and advocacy, our goal has always been to amplify the needs of the youth and challenge societal norms. We've learned so much from each other, especially from our adviser Ms. Jennifer P. Alinsunod, from GADvocates, GAD coordinators, and the inspiring individuals we've had the privilege of working alongside.

Your journey with YEGAD may be concluding, but your legacy will remain. May your future endeavors be as impactful as your time with us! ✨

As we close another remarkable academic year, the 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙔𝙀𝙂𝘼𝘿) is thrilled to share our accomplishments and initiatives that have made a meaningful impact in our community. From inspiring campaigns to transformative projects, our commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment has never been stronger.

Among our highlighted initiatives, 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗨𝗣𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 3.0🌈 has been a vibrant celebration of diversity and self-expression. This event not only showcased the talents of our students but also provided a platform for discussions around gender identity and acceptance. By embracing our differences, we are taking significant steps toward building a more inclusive environment for everyone.

Additionally, our 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗮 🫂 initiative has reached new heights, addressing critical issues related to women’s health and rights and also highlighting the importance of 𝑯𝑰𝑽 𝑻𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑩𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝑺𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, and 𝑻𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚. Through our community seminars and programs, we have provided essential services and resources, ensuring that women feel supported and empowered. This initiative emphasizes our dedication to creating equitable opportunities and fostering a safe space for dialogue around women's issues. 💁‍♀️💁‍♀️

Throughout the year, we have engaged with various stakeholders, organized seminars, and collaborated on projects that promote gender equality and youth empowerment. Each initiative is a testament to our collective effort to inspire change and drive social progress.

On 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, Photo X Media sponsored one of the classic moments of YEGAD during the Dragden TUPians 3.0, which was held at the TUP ITRC Conference Hall.

𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗫 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 brought their famous ✨𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵✨, which our fellow TUPians thoroughly enjoyed. This was a much-appreciated moment, as their presence contributed to a truly memorable experience. The YEGAD family and all the committees are beyond grateful for their support in achieving our goals and mission: to promote an event that offered both a moment to celebrate and a moment to cherish through the help of their photobooth.

This report highlights our diverse achievements and impactful activities, including the 18-day campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, the National Women's Month Celebration, and "Serbisyo Para kay Juna." We also conducted vital seminars on HIV, Breast Cancer, Gender-Fair Language, Gender Sensitivity, Anti-Harassment, and more. A special event of Dragden TUPians to mark a truly treasurable milestone for our TUP GAD community!

The TUP GAD Office extends immense gratitude to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐏. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐝, our Director for her unwavering support and massive dedication, making all these accomplishments possible.
