Donian Scouts shine bright at the 67th Provincial Scout Jamboree, claim third consecutive championship title
The 67th Provincial Scout Jamboree hosted at the Ilagan Sanctuary in Sta. Victoria concluded on March 23, with the Donian Scouts - Outfit 314 from Don Mariano Marcos National High School emerging victorious once again. This achievement marks their third consecutive year as Overall Champions in the prestigious scouting event, demonstrating outstanding dedication and skill.
The jamboree showcased a myriad of scouting skills, with participants from various schools attending. Out of numerous competing outfits, the Donian Scouts distinguished themselves by winning multiple awards, including the Champion in the Grand Campfire Presentation, Best Camp Layout, and Best in Camp Facade. Their hard work and creativity contributed to a vibrant and engaging camp environment, earning them high praise from judges and fellow scouts alike.
In addition to their overall triumph, the Donian Scouts also secured the 1st Runner Up position in the Fancy Drill competition, further solidifying their reputation as one of the premier scouting groups in the province.
The event also spotlighted individual talents among the scouts. Ezekiel Villanueva wowed audiences in the Solo Category of the BSP Got Talent, while the group category saw impressive performances that showcased the spirit and camaraderie among the scouts. Adding to their impressive haul, the Donian Scouts finished in 5th place during the BSP Quiz Bee, with participants Kurt Axel M. Furoc, Roen Ian Christoff S. Gatmin, and Grant Philip C. Rombawa displaying their intellectual prowess and teamwork.
The event was a celebration of scouting valuesโteamwork, leadership, and perseveranceโbringing together hundreds of scouts from across the province to engage in various activities, workshops, and competitions. The bonds formed during such events underscore the importance of community, friendship, and leadership that scouting instills among its members.
As the Donian Scouts - Outfit 314 prepares for future challenges, they carry with them the legacy of their achievements, inspiring upcoming scouts to strive for excellence and continue the proud tradition of scouting in Isabela.
