📣 LIGTAS TIGDAS, ARANGKADA!

Dumangas Officially Launches the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA)

The Municipality of Dumangas, through the Dumangas Main Primary Health Care Facility, successfully conducted the Ceremonial Kick-Off of the 2026 Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) on August 3, 2026 at the Brgy. Tabucan Multipurpose Covered Gym.

The activity marked the official start of the municipality’s intensified campaign to protect all eligible children against Measles (Tigdas) and Rubella through safe, effective, and life-saving vaccination.

The program was graced by our Local Government Officials, Department of Health-National Health Support System (HRH), Dumangas Main Primary Health Care personnel, Barangay Officials, partner agencies, parents, and community stakeholders, all united in one mission: to ensure that every eligible child in Dumangas receives the protection they deserve.

Highlights of the event included the inspiring messages from our local leaders, an overview of the importance of the MR-SIA campaign, the ceremonial launching of “LIGTAS TIGDAS,” and the symbolic administration of the Measles-Rubella vaccine to eligible children.

The Dumangas Main Primary Health Care Facility extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this meaningful event: Our Municipal Government headed by Hon. Braeden John Q. Biron, the Department of Health, Sangguniang Bayan members, Barangay Officials, healthcare workers, partner agencies, parents, volunteers, and all stakeholders whose unwavering support strengthens our commitment to protecting the health of every Dumanggueño child.

This campaign is more than vaccination...it is our collective promise to build a healthier, safer, and stronger future for the next generation.

Together, let us protect every child. Together, let us stop measles and rubella.

August 5, 2026. .marks the day that 12 out of 13 Registered BHW accept the challenge to become Accredited BHW. .Written Examination, Nebulazation, Proper use of Face Mask, CBG, Wound Dressing, Hand Washing, Taking of MUAC, Vital Sign & Interview they take.

DOH: Panatilihing Kontrolado ang Blood Sugar Para Maiwasan ang mga Komplikasyon

Ang diabetes ay maaaring magdulot ng mga seryosong komplikasyon tulad ng sakit sa puso, pagkasira ng bato, at pagkabulag.

Kaya mahalagang mapanatiling kontrolado ang blood sugar upang maiwasan ang mga ito. Kumain ng masustansyang pagkain, regular na mag-ehersisyo, inumin ang maintenance na gamot ayon sa payo ng doktor, at regular na magpakonsulta sa inyong healthcare provider.

Ang TINDAhan ni ALENG BNS was officially opened on 28 July 2026 through a Ceremonial Launching and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Dumangas Plaza.

Through this collaborative initiative of the Dumangas Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) and the Dumangas Main Primary Health Care Facility, Dumangasanons can buy fresh vegetables and receive FREE seedlings to grow their own nutritious food at home.
