THE IT SEMINAR SERIES 2026: A JOURNEY THROUGH SECURITY AND INNOVATION
The day turned out to be a momentous occasion for the BSIT 4 students as they took their learning a step further in their IT Seminar Series, moving further into the basics and main pillars of the modern world.
The day started with a highly impactful masterclass conducted by Engr. Emmanuel M. Dalay, where students were able to gain valuable learning on the vital areas of cybersecurity and data privacy, and learn how to secure systems in this increasingly interconnected world.
This momentum was further taken forward with the participation of an esteemed international guest speaker, Mr. Muhammad Farhan, who bridged the gap between various digital boundaries to deliver a highly impactful presentation on “The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Business Transformation.”

RESEARCH TO TRANSFORM: GLOBAL INSIGHTS AT THE 1ST STUDENT RESEARCH FESTIVAL
March 5, 2026, the ISUFST Dumangas Campus - Hometel became the center of innovation and forward-thinking ideas as successfully hosted the highly anticipated 1st Student Research Festival!

"Do not research to graduate. Research to transform." These were the ultimate words that guided our student researchers throughout the event. It was our greatest honor to welcome our prestigious International Keynote Speaker, Mr. Khidru Fawzan Suroqoh, who set a powerful and inspiring tone for the day.

Mr. Suroqoh is an Electrical Engineer, Researcher, and the CEO of Khadertech IoT Solution, located in Indonesia. Today, he shared his vast experience in the Internet of Things (IoT), AI-based control systems, and renewable energy technologies. Our students were deeply inspired by his presentation and the personal experiences he shared regarding his topic.

His insights into the world of technology and its impact on the future sparked a renewed drive among our students in the fields of Information Technology,Hearing his journey firsthand motivated everyone to look beyond their grades and focus on building real-world solutions.
