Our department offers three undergraduate programs that guide your interests forward:

~ Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing
~ Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies
~ Bachelor of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies

Three degrees, and a multitude of opportunities!

The programs our department offers may be few, but they are as flexible as what one can offer! Whether you seek to become a writer, teacher, journalist, content creator and many more. Our programs also open up diverse career paths in many industries such as art, media, and cultural industries so that you can exercise the competence and strength of your voice and creativity wherever you may go.

But there’s more than just the opportunities our programs offer here in our department. We also offer a friendly and chill vibe for our fellow students! Not only will you be joining the program you’re interested in, but you may encounter and make new friends as well! Our department is also home to the English Orientation Program so that we remain connected with our international partners, nurturing a welcoming environment for any student regardless of borders.

Our determined and competent faculty members and teachers are here to guide you in every step of the way. There is never a dull moment here in the English Department and we’re always looking forward to new additions to our community!

The English Department — home of creativity, language, culture, and the KH Cats! Whether you’re an aspiring writer, linguist, book lover, or someone eager to explore the power of language, look no further because our doors are open for you.

Our department offers three undergraduate degree programs:

In 2015, she was diagnosed with olfactory neuroblastoma, a rare kind of cancer in the nasal cavity and underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Recently, there was a recurrence of the cancer cells that needs immediate medical attention.
