🌱 AGE MAY GROW OLDER, BUT THE HEART FOR SERVICE NEVER GROWS OLD. 💙💛
There is something deeply moving about seeing our senior Rotarians.from Rotary Club of Dumaguete and Dumaguete South, North and East, even those already in their 60's, 70's and 80s, they continue to show up—not because they have to, but because their hearts still beat strongly for Service Above Self.
At 5:00 in the morning of September 12, 2026, while most of us were still resting, but they were already preparing for the day.
By 6:00 AM, they were ready to join the tree growing activity in Barangay Lunga, Valencia.
They walked nearly a kilometer through a mountainous area, endured the early morning journey, and planted and nurtured trees—not for recognition, not for applause, but for a better tomorrow.
Their steps may be slower now (💕), but their commitment remains strong. 💕
Their bodies may have grown older, but their spirit of service remains young. ❤️
Every tree they helped plant is more than a tree.🌴🌴🌴
It is a living legacy—a gift to the children and generations who may never know the names of those who planted it.💕
Today, they remind us that true service has no retirement age.
As long as there is a heart willing to serve, there is still a difference to be made.
🌳 From one generation to the next, may their example continue to inspire us to serve, to care for our environment, and to create a lasting impact.
They are not simply planting trees.
They are planting to grow hope.
They are planting to grow a beautiful life tomorrow.
