One of our CNMCI members, Reiki Elijah L. Varquez, was among the student delegates who presented research at the 11th International Exchange and Innovation Conference on Engineering & Sciences (IEICES 2025), held on October 30–31 at Kyushu University in Fukuoka City, Japan.

Among the poster presentations, “Enhancing Germination, Growth, and Vigor of Upland Kangkong Seeds through Ultrasonic Treatment,” highlighted the promising role of ultrasonic treatment in improving germination, vigor, and seedling growth in upland kangkong. This was presented by Varquez, along with his co-presenters Emilio B. Jacinto II, Owen Lloyd A. Dumago, Rehel A. Diaz, Jose Edwin C. Cubelo, and Asst. Prof. Arsenio D. Bulfa.
