Procedure for Change of Chapter:
# # # **Standard Procedure for Associate & Regular Members**

* **Step 1: Application Submission** – The applicant submits the Application for Transfer of Chapter Affiliation Form (PICE-0003) to their current chapter.
* **Step 2: Status Verification Request** – The current chapter requests verification of the member's status from the National Office Membership Unit via the official Helpdesk link.
* **Step 3: National Office Verification** – The Membership Unit verifies the applicant's status and computes the updated Statement of Account (SOA) and applicable fees.
* **Step 4: Transmission of SOA** – The Membership Unit sends the SOA to the chapter. If necessary, a Request for Reinstatement (Form PICE-0006) is also sent, which must be signed by the member, Chapter Secretary, and President before being returned for approval.
* **Step 5: Payment of Dues** – The chapter requires the applicant to pay the necessary fees as stated in the SOA.
* **Step 6: Endorsement** – Once paid, the application is signed and endorsed by the Chapter Treasurer and Chapter President.
* **Step 7: Remittance of National Fees** – The chapter remits the National dues to the PICE National official bank account. (Note: Chapter dues remain with the local chapter).
* **Step 8: Submission to National Office** – The chapter submits the endorsed application along with the deposit slip to the Membership Unit.
* **Step 9: Transfer to Accepting Chapter** – The Membership Unit transmits the application to the new (accepting) chapter.
* **Step 10: Final Acceptance** – The accepting chapter signs the application to signify acceptance and transmits the signed document back to the Membership Unit.
* **Step 11: Final Processing & Notification** – The Membership Unit completes the transfer and notifies the releasing chapter, the accepting chapter, and the member/transferee.

Congratulations to our 74 New Civil Engineers! 🎉👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE) Negros Oriental Chapter, in coordination with the Professional Regulation Commission - Region 7, successfully held the Oathtaking Ceremony of New Civil Engineers today, 05/14/2026, at the Hotel Essencia, Dumaguete City—the City of Gentle People!

During his inspiring Welcome Address, Chapter President ENGR. RICHARD U. LAO proudly presented 74 outstanding passers of the March 2026 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination. We are thrilled to welcome these brilliant new professionals who hail from esteemed institutions across the region:

An inspiring Keynote Address and the Administration of the Professional Oath led by Administering Officer Dir. Narcival Z. Taquiqui, PRC Regional Director-R7.
The solemn Pinning and Presentation of Certificates, officially recognizing our honorees as full-fledged professionals.
A celebratory dinner and fellowship guided by our Master of Ceremony, Franz Miguel Tolentino.

Life membership:
To clarify the process for members of the Negros Oriental Chapter applying under this criteria:

Requirement:
1. Maintain active status (good standing) for at least 7 years.
2. Payment: The Life Membership fee can be paid directly to the Chapter Treasurer, along with any applicable back dues.
3. Documentation: The member must complete the official Life Membership Application Form.
4. Local Processing: The Chapter will verify the 7-year active status and endorse the application to the National Office for the issuance of the Life Member Certificate and ID.

Reinstatement Procedure (PICE Negros Oriental)

For members who have not paid their dues for **more than two (2) years**, please follow these steps:

# # # # 1. Request a Statement of Account (SOA)
Before filling out the form, the member or the Chapter Treasurer must request a formal **Statement of Account** from the National Membership Office.
* This document serves as the official proof of the outstanding balance.

# # # # 2. Fill Out the Reinstatement Form (PICE-0006)
Complete the form with the following details:
* **Thru:** [Name of current Chapter President], Negros Oriental Chapter.
* **Personal Info:** Complete Name, Signature, PRC Number, and Contact Details.

# # # # 3. Chapter Treasurer Verification
Submit the filled-out form along with the **attached National Statement of Account** to the **Chapter Treasurer** (Engr. Emily Generoso).
* The Treasurer will use the National SOA to fill in the "Statement of Dues and Fees" section (Annual Dues, Applicable Years, and Total).
* The **₱ 1,000.00 Reinstatement Fee** is added to the total balance shown on the SOA.

# # # # 4. Chapter Approval (Signatures)
The form must be signed by:
* **The Chapter Secretary:** To attest to the request.
* **The Chapter President:** As "Conforme" to approve the local reinstatement request.

# # # # 5. Submission to National
Once the local officers have signed and the member has settled the total amount:
* **Scan and Email:** Send the **Reinstatement Form**, the **National SOA**, and the **Proof of Payment** (Deposit Slip) to `[email protected]`.
* **CC:** `[email protected]` for the chapter's records.

Note: Member must have the account in the new PICE portal.

**Reminder:** The National Office will not process reinstatement requests if the Statement of Account from the National Membership Office is missing from the attachment.
