Silliman University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants Fostering responsible, upright, & God-fearing accountants who embody the ideals of Via Veritas Vita.

JPIA-Silliman University Chapter is a unifying organization that seeks to create an academic atmosphere conducive to the educational advancement of students in the field of accountancy. It is an organization established to develop its members as responsible, well-rounded individuals. It is likewise instituted to promote, to organize, and to coordinate activities for the welfare of the students and

to nurture them not just a good student of Silliman University but to their community as well. It aims to involve the members in all its activities by ensuring their active participation in pursuit of developing their intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical, and professional abilities. It seeks to foster unity, camaraderie and coordination among its members and have interactions with other associations in different schools, colleges and universities. The goals of the organization is to:
• improve students’ skills in the profession
• provide a positive influence on skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, organizing, decision-making and planning
• give students a greater satisfaction with their college experience
• provide useful experience in obtaining a job and providing job related skills
• develop lifelong values of volunteerism and service to others
• ensure unity and cooperation among the members of the organization


JPIA - Silliman University Chapter is a special and highly esteemed organization of the College of Business Administration of Silliman University which is created only and exclusively for the students of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accy) course.
