Dumaguete City National High School-Girl Scouts Club

01/06/2026

Today marks the first day of this week's campus clean-up activity at Dumaguete City National High School. The Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts volunteered their time and effort to help clean and prepare the school campus. ♡

Assigned to different areas around the school, the scouts worked together to sweep, collect litter, and keep the surroundings clean and organized. Their teamwork, dedication, and willingness to serve reflect a strong sense of responsibility and school pride. 🩷

This activity was conducted under the guidance of GSP Adviser Mrs. Katada and BSP Adviser Mr. Bantoto, whose support and leadership helped make the day productive and successful. 🎀

Thank you to all the scouts who participated and contributed to making our school a cleaner and more welcoming place for everyone. 💚💙🧹✨

At DCNHS’s Graduation, Moving Up, and Recognition Day, the GSP and BSP were given the honor of serving as the colors for the event. ⚜️☘️

From beginning to end, the duty was carried out with pride and discipline as the colors led the formal proceedings and showed deep respect to the flag. It reflected the core values of scouting—service, unity, and responsibility.

It was a meaningful experience for us GSP and BSP, as we were trusted to handle such an important role throughout all the events, making the ceremony more respectful and memorable for everyone present. 🇵🇭

“Scouting Together: Empowering Youth, Serving the Nation" 🇵🇭

On Sept. 19–20, 2025, at DCNHS, the Cluster I compose of 3 Schools CNHS, DCNHS and PNHS, joint BSP Camporal and GSP Encampment ⛺ was truly filled with fun and learning. We kicked off the camp with patrol/crew yell presentations and the lighting of the campfire that sparked the spirit of scouting. The next day, we enjoyed activities such as survival cooking 🍳, the obstacle course, archery, and capture the flag with our fellow scouts. We also gained new friends from different schools, making the camp even more memorable. 🌟

Big thanks to our EPS- Dr. Saraña, EPS-Dr. Rabina,School Principals and Asst. Principals headed by Dr. Claudio A. Sun, Jr. our Cluster Head, troop leaders, fellow scouts, and to the people who made this camp possible. Truly, this camp reminded us that scouting is not just about skills, but also about friendship, teamwork, and leadership. See you on the next camping, Scouts! 💚

Special thanks to DCNHS SPA-Creative Arts, Mr. Neil Floyd Morales and Mr. Jorem Orcullo for pitik! 📸

Today the Girl Scouts actively participated in the alumni parade of DCNHS. The event kicked off at 7:30 from Quezon park to Dumaguete City National High School Campus.

From monitoring the event to holding placards of every batch of the alumni, the GSP and BSP joint together during the parade to ensure that the event went smoothly.

Thank you Batch 2000 in the leadership of Mr. Jonathan Quitay for the free snacks.✨

Teamwork makes the dream work! 💚☘️

Senior and Junior Scouts joined forces as we get our school ready for the upcoming visit of the DepEd Secretary. 🏫✨ Re-learning basic knots in the leadership of Mr. Bantoto was both educational and fun. 🪢 Knots can seem simple, but they’re such a useful skill, especially for scouts. Big thanks to everyone for the support and cooperation!

☘️ Girl Scouts Duties: Leading the Way to a Cleaner DCNHS! 🌿🌟

The Girl Scouts Club of Dumaguete City National High School proudly fulfilled their duty at the SPA Building every Wednesday by taking the lead in segregating waste and promoting proper trash disposal. 🗑️✨ With discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility, these young leaders showed that caring for the environment starts with simple but meaningful actions.

As they sorted biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable waste, they not only cleaned the area but also inspired others to become more mindful of how we manage our trash. 💚 Their efforts reflect the true spirit of scouting—serving with purpose and making a positive impact in the community.

Together, let us all support their advocacy for a cleaner and greener school. 🌱 Every small action matters, and with unity, we can build a safer, cleaner and healthier environment for all! 💪💫
