Organized by the ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ ๐ฆ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ด๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐๐ (๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐๐), this summit brought together student leaders from various campuses to synchronize our visions for the student body.
For this year's summit, our team traveled to the ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ๐จ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐๐ โ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐
๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป. It was a refreshing change of scenery for us to collaborate while surrounded by the livestock, animals, and lush flora of the ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ, ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฟ๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐.
Our two-day journey kicked off on Day 1 with our arrival at the extension campus, leading straight into the opening ceremonies. We opened with Welcome Remarks from ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐๐ป ๐. ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐, followed by the Rationale presented by ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐, ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ต๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ. The morning sessions kept going strong with key insights on student affairs from ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ & ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐, ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฃ. ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ, followed by a lecture on local governance by ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ, ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐๐๐. ๐ก๐ถ๐ธ๐ธ๐ผ ๐ก๐ถรฑ๐ผ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐.
After the lunch break, we transitioned into an inspirational afternoon address from our ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐, ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐ก๐ผ๐ฒ๐น ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ท๐ผ๐ป ๐. ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐ถ, ๐ฃ๐๐.๐, before splitting into our specialized breakout sessions tailored for the three branches of our student government. ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐
๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต deep-dived into Planning & Budgeting spearheaded by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ, the ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต mastered Parliamentary & Drafting Resolution led by ๐๐ผ๐ป. ๐๐๐๐. ๐๐ถ๐บ ๐ง. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ, and the ๐๐๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต tackled the Rule of Courts guided by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฎ. Before heading into the evening activities, we wrapped up our technical seminars with a session on the Code of Conduct & Ethical Standards by ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ.
To foster a true spirit of unity across the university, we were intentionally grouped into mixed teams with student leaders from the different NORSU campuses. The energy surged into the night during a brain-twisting ๐ค๐๐ถ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐น and a high-spirited ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐น๐น ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, before we all gathered for a traditional ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป under the Pamplona sky to ground ourselves in our shared purpose.
Day 2 shifted our focus toward environmental stewardship and team synergy. Capitalizing on Pamplonaโs rich agricultural grounds, we opened the morning by getting our hands dirty for an early ๐ฑ:๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐. Following breakfast, we jumped into a powerful session on Servant Leadership with the ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐, ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐๐น๐ถ๐ผ ๐. ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ผ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ, which was immediately followed by Student Regent, Hon. Reymer John Ferrer taking the stage once again to lead the Innovation & Best Practices Showcase.
This intellectual segment smoothly transitioned into a high-stakes team-building initiative. The activity pushed our cross-campus groupsโ communication and strategy to the limit across the expansive, animal-and-plant-filled terrain.
The summit officially wrapped up in the afternoon sharing a ๐ง๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐
๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ followed by the awarding and closing ceremony. We returned home inspired, grounded, and fully equipped with fresh leadership frameworks to engineer a better, more transformative service for the entire CEA student body.
