π Calling all freelancers, aspiring digital workers, industry leaders, academe, LGUs, and ecosystem enablers in the Negros Island Region!
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through the ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB) invites you to participate in the Freelance Stakeholders Enablement on June 29, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Roy's Hotel and Convention Center, Bacolod City.
This stakeholder engagement aims to strengthen the regional freelancing ecosystem by bringing together freelancers, government agencies, local government units, academic institutions, private sector partners, and industry leaders to discuss opportunities, identify challenges, validate industry needs, and explore collaborative solutions that will support the continued growth of online freelancing in the Negros Island Region.
Participants will take part in consultations, workshops, and discussions that will contribute to the development of a Freelancer Baseline Profile, Regional Experience Map, Needs Matrix, and Policy Recommendations that will help shape future programs and interventions for the freelance sector.
