36TH STUDENT ASSEMBLY | FIRST QUARTER TRANSPARENCY REPORT AND FEEDBACK FORM

In line with its commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible student representation, the 36th Student Assembly formally presents its First Quarter Transparency Report, detailing its accomplishments, initiatives, and activities throughout the semester.

The Assembly also encourages the student body to complete the accompanying Feedback Form to share their comments, suggestions, and recommendations. HIGHLIGHTS | 3rd Regular Session [July 19, 2026]

Assembly leadership, Dr. Kent Carpenter’s passing, and campus security following a recent bomb threat were among the key issues raised during the 3rd Regular Session.

Rep. Zoe Joaquin Jose B. Ozoa (CBA) stepped down as Majority Floor Leader, while Reps. Alyza Mae A. Arguelles (CAS) and Franz Miguel Q. Tolentino (CED) raised concerns regarding Dr. Carpenter’s passing and campus security, respectively.

HIGHLIGHTS | 2nd Regular Session [July 5, 2026]

The 2nd Regular Session brought attention to campus safety, Assembly leadership, accountability, and concerns over the appropriations process.

Rep. Joshua Miguel Amante (GRAD) raised concerns over campus safety and emergency response. Rep. Bariquit (SPAG) and Rep. Olarte (SHS) addressed recent resignations and concerns within the Assembly, while Rep. Gaitera (CAS) questioned the handling of the appropriations process and moved for a motion of no confidence against Rep. Ozoa (CBA), Chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations.
