Behind this initiative is the Rotaract Club of Dumaguete under Rotary International District 3860—a non-profit organization committed to supporting the global eradication of polio. Months of preparation and collaboration led to the event’s success. Proceeds from the run will be donated to the PolioPlus Fund of Rotary International for Rotary Year 2025–2026.

After the coastal clean-up drive, the fun continued with a friendly pickleball game together with the Rotaract Club of Silliman University. 🏓💙 Rotaractors bonded, shared laughs, and enjoyed an afternoon filled with energy and camaraderie.

Last July 4, 2025, just days after the Rotary New Year, the Rotaract Club of Dumaguete held its first general meeting, marking not just the start of a new chapter, but the strengthening of meaningful connections.

Through thoughtfully prepared activities by our Club Service Director, members had the chance to go beyond introductions, that is to share stories, build trust, and create bonds that will fuel our service and purpose.

Because at the heart of every impactful organization is connection. When we take the time to truly know each other, we build a stronger, more united community, ready to serve, lead, and inspire together.

In celebration of Dental Health Month, the Rotaract Club of Dumaguete proudly continues its signature project, Project Smile, now on its third year. Through this initiative, the club donated oral hygiene kits such as toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss to 70 pupils of Calangag Elementary School in Bacong, Negros Oriental.

With every toothbrush, toothpaste, and smile shared, we take another step toward empowering young learners with the knowledge and tools they need for better oral health. Guided by a licensed dentist, the pupils are able to learn the right way of toothbrushing.

Continue supporting the younger generation by boosting their confidence once smile at a time.

During the Breast Cancer Awareness Fun Run on October 13, 2025, members of the Rotaract Club of Dumaguete took part in a meaningful activity that went beyond the run itself, it's signing the affirmation wall. Each message written on the wall served as a symbol of hope, strength, and encouragement for individuals and families affected by breast cancer. In that simple yet powerful act, words became a source of empowerment for survivors, fighters, and supporters alike.

The Rotaract Club of Dumaguete continues to promote Breast Cancer Awareness in partnership with Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation Inc. (BCAFI).
