Don’t forget that the indoor auditions will happen from 9 AM to 3 PM only at the Student Government of Dumaguete City office, CTHM building. If you weren’t able to fill up the pre-registration form, worry less because we will also cater walk-in applicants.

Are you wondering what the steps are to ace your auditions this September 27, 2024? Worry less because we got you!

Everyone will be granted a chance to choose from a bowl containing different hosting scenarios (example: Acquaintance party, College day or Founders’ Week). You’d be given 3 minutes to prepare and make your own script. After such, the aspirant will now perform his or her piece in front of the panel. Lastly, an interview will be done after everything to fully assess the aspirant.

Dali ra diba? Maong unsa pay gihulat? Apply now and prepare yourself for the audition day! We’re not just looking for members who’ll bring pride to the organization, but also hosts who are always ready for any events. If you think you have got what it takes to be our next MC, register now!

Another great achievement for the organization as the NORSU Hosting Association had the honor of hosting the Liberal Forum, a recent gathering at Negros Oriental State University featuring notable figures like former Senator Leila De Lima, former Congressman Erin Tañada, and former Congressman Teodoro Baguilat as speakers.

The audience comprised representatives from various community sectors, including student leaders from different universities and colleges, SK councilors, LYDC members, and city officials. The event featured engaging panel discussions, insightful presentations, and active participation from the audience, leading to heightened awareness of liberal issues, stimulating intellectual discussions, and fostering stronger community ties.

This event serves as a clear indication that the NORSU Hosting Association possesses hosting skills that extend beyond just entertaining events to formal gatherings as well. During the culmination of the Women’s Month Celebration, the NORSU Hosting Association was given another opportunity showcasing the inevitable excellence in hosting such events.

Thank you and Congratulations to the Gender And Development Director, Dr. Aireen Felix and to the Gender And Development Representative, Hon. Jhonfred Velasco for the opportunity and a job well done event for this whole month of March.

Indeed, the association is not just about hosting but also a room for development and growth as we encounter different events challenging our capabilities to cope with unexpected situations.

Once again, the NORSU Hosting Association was given another opportunity showcasing the talents and skills of its core members in line with the celebration of the National Women’s Month held at ST Audio Visual Room last March 15, 2023.

Thank you and Congratulations to the Gender And Development Center headed by Dr. Aireen Felix and the Gender And Development Representative, Mr. Jhonfred Velasco for their successful and meaningful event focusing on the women’s capability and ability to make a move for our environment and society.
