The DuScian Girl Scouts were grateful to share a simple yet meaningful holiday with the children of Casa Esperanza. 🎄 Through small gifts, laughter, and time spent together, we were reminded that service is best expressed through presence, compassion, and unity. ❤️✨

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐋𝐀𝐎𝐍! 🫂

In the wake of Typhoon Tino, many families in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental have been severely affected — losing homes, belongings, and access to basic necessities. As Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Negros Oriental–Siquijor Council, we are extending our hands to gather help and bring hope to our fellow Negrenses. 🤝

We are now accepting donations in cash and in kind to aid the affected communities. Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference.

📍In-Kind Donations May Include:
🍚 Rice and other food supplies (canned goods, noodles, coffee, biscuits, etc.)
💧Drinking water and ready-to-drink beverages
🧼 Hygiene kits (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary pads, tissue, etc.)
👕 Clothes (clean and usable), towels, and blankets
💊 Medicines and basic first-aid supplies
🔦 Flashlights, batteries, and other essential relief goods

📸𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Last October 5, the DuScian Girl Scouts, led by the DGS Club Officers, joined hands with the 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐎) and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐞 for a meaningful mangrove planting activity at DYSR Banilad.🌱🌿

Mangroves serve as nature’s silent guardians, protecting shores, nurturing marine life, and sustaining our coasts. Through this activity, the DuScians planted not only trees but also hope and commitment to a sustainable future.💚🎗️

A moment to cherish! ✨

On September 5, 2025, at the RTPM-DSHS Gymnasium, our Senior and Cadet Girl Scouts were officially welcomed through the Investiture Ceremony into the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. The Investiture Ceremony is a meaningful occasion where our girls prove their commitment to the GSP Promise and Law—serving as their stepping stone in their journey toward becoming true Girl Scouts. 💚💛

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Arcemie Aguaviva, Ms. Rencesyl Duran, and Mrs. Emma Cordura for their steadfast guidance, and to Mrs. Rosalima C. Lacorte from the GSP Negros Oriental–Siquijor Council for sharing an inspiring message that uplifted the hearts of our Scouts.

We would also like to sincerely thank our ever-supportive School Principal, Dr. Daphne G. Nodado, and our Assistant School Heads, Dr. Leizette Silot and Mrs. Rose Marie Palomar, for their unwavering support in making this event a success.
