In response to the devastation caused by Typhoon , the Provincial Youth Development Council (PYDC) of Negros Oriental and the League of Student Governments (LSG) of Negros Oriental are spearheading a relief initiative to extend aid to affected communities across the province, especially for our brothers and sisters in the First District.

We are urgently calling for in-kind and monetary donations to support displaced families and individuals.

The most needed items include:
🩳 Clean and usable clothes
🥫 Ready-to-eat food and canned goods
💧 Bottled water
🧼 Hygiene kits (soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary pads, etc.)
🪑 Blankets, mats, and towels

📢 Call for Applications: Men Talking to Men

GWAVE is calling for committed male volunteers to train as facilitators and advocates on gender issues and positive masculinity as part of our Men for Violence-Free Communities Program.

📘 Training Schedule
📌 Modules Covered:

4 days: Gender Awareness & Transformation (G*T), Positive Masculinity, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), and Sexuality & Reproductive Health

2 days: Facilitation Skills
🗓 Training dates to be agreed upon by participants (July–August 2025)

👤 Qualifications👇

✅ Male, 25–40 years old
✅ Currently living, working, or studying in Negros Oriental
✅ Open to learning and growth through seminars and trainings
✅ Passionate about gender equality and positive masculinity
✅ Willing to commit for at least 1 year as part of GWAVE’s Men for VAW-Free Communities Program
