03/28/26 | Basic Life Support Training⛑️

Under the supervision of Mr. Danilo Reden A. Pahayahay, COSCA Emergency Response Unit adviser, the CERU (COSCA Emergency Response Unit) members, along with the Criminology Officers, successfully took part in a Basic Life Support Training conducted by One Siquijor Rescue at the COSCA Gym, Main Campus.

One Siquijor rescue taught the CERU members and Criminology officers about the proper steps and procedures on how to perform various life saving techniques. This includes CPR training(in cases of medical reasons or drowning, if the person is a child, or if the person is an infant), and first aid bandaging techniques.

These skills are vital and important to our CERU members and Criminology officers in order to fulfill their mission and ensure that they have the ability to perform their duties properly and safely.

03/27/26 | Water Survival Training

Splashes, skills, and saving lives 🌊💪

Through the leadership of Mr. Danilo Reden A. Pahayahay, COSCA Emergency Response Unit adviser, the CERU (COSCA Emergency Response Unit) members successfully participated in a Water Survival Training conducted by One Siquijor Rescue at the Aqua Center.

Today’s Water Survival Training was more than just fun, it was empowering. The CERU (COSCA Emergency Response Unit) members together with Criminology Officers of Colegio De Santa Catalina de Alejandria gained new knowledge and lifesaving skills that we’ll carry both in and out of the field.

From mastering basic water safety techniques to building confidence in rescue situations, this experience pushed us beyond our limits and strengthened our sense of responsibility as future public safety professionals. More than just a training, it was a reminder that preparedness can make the difference between life and loss.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve. 🌊
