💡Tuwing 𝑨𝒈𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒐 ipinagdiriwang ang 𝑩𝒖𝒘𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒊𝒌𝒂 bilang paggunita sa buwan ng kapanganakan ni 𝑷𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑳. 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒛𝒐𝒏 (Agosto 19, 1878), na kinikilalang 𝑨𝒎𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑾𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒂 dahil sa kanyang pagsusulong na magkaroon ang Pilipinas ng isang wikang katutubo bilang wikang pambansa.

📚 Noong 1937, pinili ang 𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒈 bilang batayan ng Wikang Pambansa sa pamamagitan ng 𝑲𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒑 𝑩𝒍𝒈. 134, na naging mahalagang hakbang sa pagbuo ng ating pambansang identidad.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of 𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙋. 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡, a visionary whose ideas ignited a sense of nationalism and awakened a generation to the value of freedom, dignity, and education.

More than a national hero, Rizal reminds us that meaningful change often begins with 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, and the willingness to stand for one's convictions. Through his writings and actions, he showed that a single voice, guided by purpose and integrity, can leave a lasting impact on a nation.

It honors 𝓢𝓪𝓲𝓷𝓽 𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓮, the Roman priest linked to secret marriages under Claudius II, and the 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕌𝕊𝕊 𝕄𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕖 in Havana, which helped trigger the Spanish–American War. The martyrdom of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘇, 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮 (𝗚𝗼𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝘇𝗮) at Rizal Park inspired Filipino nationalism 🇵🇭.
